Hazbin Hotel/Sonic Fanfiction LORE BOOK.

The main Lore.

We start our timeline 300 years after Charlie Morningstar started her Hazbin Hotel. 

She's been running a very decent service and after multiple attempts, she finally manages to redeem a few souls and get them into heaven Unfortunately an angel by the name of Novia(NO-V-EYE-YA) comes to her and explains that her redemption plan might not be a viable strategy due to God already having a way of dealing with human souls. Charlie Argues that the Exterminations are a barbaric way of dealing with Humans and Novia agrees but doesn't know how to change this system without angering god himself. However, Charlie states that god barely interacts with his creations now so Novia's fear is completely unjustified. Once Novia returns to heaven he gets inspired by Charlie's words and decides to take his own measures in changing the heaven and hell system. Novia believes the reason god has the heaven and hell system the way it is might be due to his lack of trust in humanity. So Novia spends 50 years mixing demonic and angelic energy into a new form of power entirely. He manages to contain this energy into 7 gems. 

A white gem of Wish powered by the minds of people. A red gem of power that increases physical strength. A yellow gem of Light that can brighten even the darkest of souls. A cyan gem of spirit that increases the power of one's soul. A blue gem of cosmos that gives someone the power to distort space itself. A purple gem of Emotion allows someone to increase their own powers based on their feelings. Lastly, A green gem of nature that allows for the healing and rebuilding of organic matter. Novia believes that giving these gems of power to humans will allow them to prove they can be trusted in the eyes of god. Novia sends these gems down onto the earth and the amount of energy in them causes a huge shift in the tectonic plates thus restructuring the earth itself. Accidentally Novia realizes his mistake and decides to lead big groups of humans toward where he places the gems these groups would create giant cities rebuild their civilizations and regain the lost technology that was destroyed by the earth's restructuring. Humanity as a whole was able to come to peace as many of their countries got mixed together and due to the loss of many cities and some cultures in order to preserve the human races they all began working together to rebuild and allow for the planet to properly thrive. They used the gems Novia gifted them as power sources and would try to study them the best they could to scientifically understand them. As time went on human life would mostly be focused on the gems and due to the chaos initially caused by these powerful gems many beings would dub them the chaos emeralds. (even tho only one of them was green). Seeing the progress of humanity's peace Novia feels proud and believes that his plan has been completed. Instead, God decides that Novia giving humans the power to create infinite peace was not in his plan and he sends down a powerful shockwave of energy in the center of the earth breaking the earth into pieces and causing it to fly outward in different directions by a demonic monster dubbed Gaia. 

However, the people of Earth would not give up so easily however. In the years of  Gaia's reign, the monster kept the pieces of the earth close enough for people to live and would send monstrous creatures to attack humans. However, the chaos emeralds would negate the effects of Gaia's energy. So humans created beacons to fire this energy directly into the center of the earth via powerful temples named the Gaia temples. 

Once the temples were completed the chaos emeralds fired beams of energy into  Gaia restoring the pieces of the planet together. Out of fear of Gaia returning Humanity left the Gaia temples alone refusing to move the emeralds in hopes they would protect humananity. Almost as if people worshipped them. God was not happy with this outcome and decided to take a different approach. Taking the same newly created energy Novia made He created a new gem and gave it an infinite amount of that energy God then sent that gem down to the country of Mazuri where a tribe of people would be called upon by this powerful gem named the knuckles tribe. They called this gem the master emerald and they were given a simple mission.
