We are the trees of life
The children of day and night
Oh yes what a beautiful sight
Our journeys yet but started
Our roots growing in the earth
We have just been birthed
We are the trees of life
Our dreams set so so high
Our spirit so powerful it may just fly
The horizon glows with hope and love
But we do not see the demons hiding
Until it's too late, until it's to frightening
Life was meant to be beautiful
But the air we breathe is poison
Polluted by others without real reason
We are the trees of life
Watch our limbs fall
Once our belief so very tall
Technology controls the very world
Inboxes more important than those around
Makes the world so corrupt, keeping our hearts forever bound
Bound by hate and destruction
The world is falling apart
And to think we saw ourselves so smart
You are a disappointment, never good enough, you will fail
The words scream in our heads
The final thoughts we think before bed
We are the trees of life
We barely stand at all
Watch us crumble watch us full
The world no longer livable
Controlled by demons disguised as men
We all will be attacked is just a matter of when
We are an indestructible wall of fire
Obliterating and destroying everything in our way
To that, there's nothing I can really say
Dragged down by society
Never pretty never smart enough
The expectations why make things so rough
Every idea every decisions
Born by greed for power and money
When will it ever again be sunny?
Torturing those we share the world with
But never once does it cross our minds bTo ever consider to be kind
We are the trees of life
Born in a world with nothing but hate and remorse
Stupid for thinking we could destroy its empowering force
Humans so powerful, humans are beings of truth
So why is our Promises nothing but empty words?
So why will our screams for mercy never be herd
Monsters here monsters there
Controlling the streets and our minds
Monsters called humans our very kind.
Earth the home of existence
The very key to life that we know
Can't we give it care and compassion that we should be obliged to show?
We are the trees of life
Once thriving tall into something of prominence can't you see?
But now that's nothing more than a faded memory
Once a forest covering the world
Cut down by the morals of humanity
Why are we such a place of insanity?
Listen to my cry's hear my pleas
We created a magnitude of helplessness this world had never seen
Never will be become what we were capable of being
We are the trees of life
But really we Monsters given the name human beings
Destroying any hope to have ever been seen
We are the tress of life
But poison just now fills our core
Nothing less nothing more
We have corrupted and killed the very soil we need in order to survive
We are the trees of death
