Chapter 9

The school day went by fast. Nothing interesting having happened. As soon as I get home, I tell my parent(s) of the sleepover which so happened to be tonight. They are excited that I am going to spend time with other people. I begin to pack some essentials for the sleepover. One of my parents peeking their head in, "got everything that you need? Promise me you will be careful there." they speak protectively.

"Yes, also I promise, Mary will be there too so it should be fine, and if something should happen I'll try to contact as soon as possible." I respond, finally finishing the packing, and heading outside. I find Mary waiting. "Isn't this exciting?" Mary asks. I simply nod as we begin walking to the address that Teresa had sent.

After a while of walking, we eventually arrive to the address, the house looking quite lovely, we see a dog outside the house, watching us. "Well this is it apparently." I speak up. "What a cute dog." Mary says walking towards the dog. It looked like a golden retriever. I head towards the door, knocking on the door. Mary is petting the dog when the door opens. "You made it!" Teresa exclaims. She signals to come in, we do, the dog follows, and walks off in the house somewhere.

"Let me show you around before we settle." Teresa suggests. "That sounds great, Teresa." I respond. "Well this is the foyer, the stairs lead to the rooms."

*timeskip to the upstairs of the house*

"Here's Aris's room," Teresa points out, the first room closest to the the stairs. Aris's room doesn't have much to really describe, but he had a violin on his desk, and on the bed was the dog we encountered earlier. "The dog is Aris's," she explains. We move on to the next room which has the door shut, "This is Jasper's, I don't want to show it because he kind of threw papers around earlier and hasn't cleaned it."
We make it to the final room which so happens to be hers. She opens the door, the walls painted a lovely shade of lavender blue. "It's pretty accurate to you as a person," Mary comments to Teresa, "guessing your parents were the other room we didn't see." Teresa smiles and nods, "I respect their privacy since they respect mine and what not."

        Mary and I put our things down. "Where are your brothers anyways?" Mary asks. "Aris went to pick up some things for Dero and Spade. Dero is the dog. Spade is Jasper's cat. Jasper is picking up the food hopefully," Teresa responds. We go into the living room, Teresa cuts the tv on, "what would we all like to watch until they get here?" She looks at us questioning. Mary looks through the movies, and shows that they had, "I have watched many of these before so I'm down for whatever either of you should choose." Teresa states.

     Choosing a random series, we chose 'Sherlock', getting captivated by the story. The door opens, and we see Aris walk in carrying food for the animals and litter for the cat, Teresa goes to help him, shutting the door. "Ah I heard that you two were going to be here," Aris says, the bag slightly covering his face as he talks. We laugh, Mary speaks up, "shame we won't get to speak to your parents or see them."

      Teresa takes the things and goes off somewhere in the house. "Jasper will be here shortly," Aris states as he looks at his phone before placing himself on the couch. Teresa returns and as soon as she sits down, the door flies open once more. The mouth watering scent of pizza floods in. "Next time, Aris is getting the pizza," Jasper grumbles carrying the food to the kitchen. We follow hungry, he placed the pizza onto the counter, and as soon as he did Aris opened it revealing that some of the pizza was (insert your favorite pizza). (If you don't like pizza or can't stand it on the side in a different container is your favorite fast food)

       "How did you know I liked (insert the food)?" I ask my mouth watering at the sight of it. "I learnt of it from Mary," Teresa responds. We each grab some food, and sit down starting up a movie, (y/f/m), which so happens to be completely a random pick. Aris sat on the floor with Mary, Teresa was sitting on the couch in a funny way, and I was next to Jasper. I looked towards Jasper curiously, he notices a confused look in his eyes.

Once the movie comes to an end, I was the first to get my pajamas on, as I exit the bathroom, I spot Jasper's door open. "Hey, Jasper?" I slightly peek my head around the corner. His room had a keyboard (piano) in it, I spot him petting a cat with black fur, he is smiling. I notice the pile of papers that he seems to have picked up.
"Yes, (Y/N)?" Jasper asks looking over towards me. "I just wanted to wish you good night." I respond, slapping myself mentally. Jasper smiles and nods, "good night to you too."

     As I head towards Teresa's room, I hear Jasper's door shut. I walk into Teresa's room, Mary and Teresa now in their own Pajamas, but now in the room Teresa seems to have brought in makeshift beds, they looks pretty comfortable. We all go to sleep for the night, but what we don't know is that something wrong will happen in the morning. Something shattering.
