The happy ending<3

So Violet found out where Major lives! She was so happy and excited to meet him again... But the sad part... that he didn't want to see her... she was so sad and started apologising and saying things like "Is it because of my hands?! Is it because I'm weak?! I can do better I swear!!!"

Well. He said some horrible things about himself... and said to her "get out!!" Well... technically... she did. She did go.
But she left a letter for him!

And Dietfried decided to pay a little visit to Gilbert.
He was so furious about the things he said to Violet. Even though Dietfried made Violet the tool of the battlefield. He was angry. And said she was the only one who was visiting their mother's grave! And leaving flowers. So he put Violet's note in a bucket and put it on the rope and it went to Gilbert.

Gilbert started to read it. It says...

'To my beloved Major Gilbert,

How are you? Is everything well with you? Where are
you right now? Is there anything causing you problems?
Spring, summer, autumn, and winter, many seasons have
passed, but I am still waiting for the one when you
return. At first, I did not understand. I did not understand
any of your feelings. But, during this new life you have
given me, while it might not be very much, I have learned
to feel through writing letters for others, and through the
people I have met. I still believe that you are alive out
there somewhere. That is why I will live and live and live. I
may not know what lies ahead, but I will live nonetheless.
And if we should ever meet again, this is what i would tell
you. I now understand the meaning of those words. I
know what "I love you" means.'

And Gilbert... just started crying
And Dietfried said, "what are you waiting for?"
And Gilbert is just running to that boat yelling "Violet!! Violet!!!!"
And Violet jumps into the water and runs towards Gilbert too
And they meet again
Gilbert says "I still like you"
And they both are hugging and crying
And later on, Erica is done with Violet's 3 months of work and Violet quits her job. And lived her great life with Major <33
