Lakeefa P.O.V

Today was just a normal day for me, Lakeefa Smith, as I was heading out to kill some bad people that were on my list. Oh yeah, by the way, I'm part of this public mafia called the Arakna Mafia and basically, we go around killing bad people on this thing called the Arakna list, so the planet isn't overpopulated AND there are fewer bad people so we're nice, right? 

I mean my twin sister, Kenya, doesn't think so she thinks we're just killing innocent people, but I know we're not because I work hard for this place so why would they lie to someone working hard for them, plus she can't say anything when she's working for a money-hungry monster who pretends to be ni-.

I gasp as I see my nice, English teacher on the list in my caramel-toned hand. I stand there frozen in my tracks thinking about how my new teacher, Mrs. Longbottom who would never do anything wrong in her entire life was on my kill list. I decided to go to my boss and ask him what this is about, so I call an Uber to bring me to the mall.

Kenya P.O.V

The Milani mafia and I, Kenya Smith, had just finished tying up the bad guys from this random mafia who was kidnapping people and holding them hostage for money. 

When Mr. Richie, my boss, told me to check upstairs for any more people, but while I was walking up the stairs, I heard some yelling, so I ran downstairs thinking it was some more bad guys, so I snuck around the corner but turns out it was just Mr. Richie and his stepdaughter, Stella, yelling at the hostages saying "COME ON! YOU OWE US MONEY SINCE WE SAVED YOU, YOU OWE US SOME MONEY!" I gasp quietly deciding to think nothing of it until I can talk to him privately because this could easily be a misunderstanding, right?

Lakeefa P.O.V

As the uber drops me off at the mall I start thinking: this could be a misunderstanding or maybe she did do something wrong, you know what never mind, I will find out when I ask him. So, I walk into the tailor store and say "Hello" to the nice old lady who runs the store, and she says "Hello, Nice weather today isn't it?" I smile and respond with "yes but I always carry an umbrella" 

She nods and presses a button under the checkout counter, she then starts to walk away and I follow her, she leads me to one of the dressing rooms that unlocks when the hidden camera sees us arrive, she then presses the complete middle of the mirror which then causes the mirror to open and reveal a staircase that leads to the Arakna Base. 

I thank her and start the walk down the staircase. once I arrive at his office I hesitate before knocking on the door, but I decided to suck it up and I knocked before I could wimp out again, Sir. Arak calls "Come in!" I walk in and bow before saying: "Um excuse Sir. Arak but I saw my nice new English teacher on my kill list, but I don't believe she's done anything wrong, so why are we killing her?" 

He laughs and I feel relieved thinking it was just a misunderstanding, but I tense up again when he says with a greasy smile "For us to kill people they don't have to do something bad, we just have to make sure no one cares about them, so we are still nice. Anyways I'm busy sOoO SHOO!" he dismisses me from his office rudely. 

I leave feeling sad after realizing that I was being lied to but then I realize one more thing, I must take this mafia down they can't keep doing this, they've been lying to the public too. I decide I need help from someone who will give me the loudest "I told you so" ever when I tell her about this. I sigh as I wave to the nice lady from the store and head home.

Kenya P.O.V

After the mission, I knocked on Mr. Richie's office door and waited while I heard some scrambling and whispered voices before hearing Mr. Richie yell "Come in!" through the door, I entered the room to see a slightly dishevelled Mr. Richie sitting at his desk where half the things were knocked on the floor. 

I swallowed a lump in my throat and smiled shyly before bowing and telling Mr. Richie "Excuse me, sir, um earlier on the mission I walked in on you and your daughter Stella yelling at the hostages we just freed for money and I was just wondering why because that isn't the reason we do this so I was just worried about what was going on there." 

he smiles creepily and says "First of all she is my stepdaughter second of all, OF COURSE, THAT'S WHY WE DO IT WHY DO ELSE WOULD WE DO IT, FOR FUN??? now that I answered your stupid meaningless question LEAVE" he yelled at me. 

I flinch before walking out quickly. And I become sad realizing that I will need help from the one person I trust and the one person who will give me the biggest "I told you so" ever. So, I start to head home.

Lakeefa P.O.V

Once I enter the home I yell "KENYA! ARE YOU HOME I NEED TO TALK" when I don't get a response, I realize she is not home and I decide to wait nervously for her to come home, when she comes home, I hear her yell "LAKEEFA! ARE YOU HOME I NEED TO TALK" I gasp and dash towards the front door and tell her 

"I need to talk to you too so let's do this the way we did when we were younger ok?" she nods and I count down "three, two, one" and together we say "MY MAFIA LIED TO ME!" we gasp and we laugh then realize what we just said then at the same time we ask "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" 

She laughs again so I decided to talk first "well basically my mafia doesn't only kill bad people they just kill people who won't be remembered" she gasps and says, " I TOLD YOU SO, also my mafia is only helping people to get money" now it's my turn to gasp and say, "I TOLD YOU SO, but how are we going to stop them??" Kenya thinks for a second before saying "ok I have a plan just give me 5 minutes to get some materials"

Kenya P.O.V

I run around the house to find 2 USBs and when I do find them, I dash back to the living room before telling Lakeefa my plan.

After I tell her my plan, I head to the base again and download all the data and plans before heading back to the house and checking to make sure she did the same thing. then I go to the store to grab 2 small cameras and microphones before giving a camera and mic to Lakeefa before I head back to the base again once I get there I head back to the office and ask him the same question I did before but I flinch again 

when he yells "LIKE I TOLD YOU EARLIER WE ONLY HELP PEOPLE FOR MONEY WHY ELSE WOULD WE HELP PEOPLE" he gets up and comes to me I twitch away from him and the heavy smell of alcohol but I wish I ran after he smacks me so hard I fall to the dirty carpet that I am always wondering why this carpet is so dirty. I start to cry as he heads back to his chair. 

I run back to the house in tears while holding onto my burning cheek. When I get home, I upload the video and add it to Lakeefa's video after watching her boss yell "YOU'RE BACK AGAIN STUPID GIRL, I TOLD YOU EARLIER WE KILL PEOPLE NO ONE CARES ABOUT" then I post the video on YouTube and watch as the number of views and comments climb.

Lakeefa P.O.V

I walk to the mall and see the large crowd of people fighting to get into the mafia bases after we exposed them and their bases, so I called Kenya and told her about what was going on with a huge smile on my face. Thinking about how I learned that things aren't always what they seem.
