Eddie Brock sat in one of the chairs of the church, filled with humiliation and hatred towards both Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Spider-Man for stopping him from getting that job the first time around. And then Parker for taking his job, not once....but twice, as well as outing him out as a fraud.
He'd give anything to get back at one of those two. Preferably both, but that's more than likely not gonna happen.
"Late night?" a distance voice said, catching the attention of Brock. The young man looked to see the pastor standing on the far side of the church. And his eyes were locked onto him.
"Yeah. I need some......some help." Brock said.
"Don't we all?" the pastor said, walking closer to Brock. He didn't stop until he was about few feet away from him, with his eyes still fixed on the former photographer. "But you'd be surprised at hat you may find at church."
At that, Brock did a double take as he saw the pastor's eyes flash a sickly grayish color.
"Uh....what is wrong with your-"
Brock was suddenly cut off when the pastor, as fast as lighting grabbed onto both his shoulders.
"Hey! Get off of me dude! What the hell?!" Brock shouted in confusion and shock as he tried to break free. But the pastor had a vice grip on his shoulders that did not appear to waiver one bit.
And then to make matters even weirder, Brock felt some sort of strange sensation. The closest thing to describe it would be a snake slithering onto your body, but you would be feeling it all over your body instead of one specific area.
It was only until after the sensation stopped, when the pastor finally let go of him and fell onto the ground, panting. Brock on the other hand looked at the pastor, who now had fear in his eyes as he looked around in some sort of confusion.
"What is wrong with you?!" Brock asked.
"Is it gone?" the pastor asked. "Is the parasite gone?"
"PARASITE?!" said a deep and raspy voice inside of Brock's head.
Then out of the blue, his arm lurched forward and grabbed the pastor by his neck. But the scary thing was.....that arm was black, slimy, and too long to be a normal arm length......way too long. Unless arms can suddenly grow as long as at least seven feet each.
Then Brock saw the black slime start to emerge all over his body.
"What is happening?!" Brock said, as the slime engulfed his face, to be replaced by the face of a monster with eyes similar to Spider-Man and a mouth filled with razor sharp teeth and an unnaturally long tongue.
"Eyes, lung, pancreas." the creature said in the same deep raspy voice that Brock heard before. "So many snacks, so little time." Then the creature opened his large mouth and in an instant, bit the pastor's head off like it was nothing.
"Parasite my ass." the creature mumbled, before disappearing out through the wall of the church. It jumped into the nearby ocean and swam to a pole near the edge, before dissolving right back into Brock's body.
"What the hell?!" Brock yelled out. "What is happening?!" That's when the black face started to appear out from behind Brock and looked at him. "What...the hell.....are you?!" Brock asked.
"I am Venom." Venom responded. "And you are mine now."
"Say what now?!" Brock said. "You just.....you just bit that guy's head off! Are you crazy?!"
"Relax Eddie." Venom said. "You and I can give you what you want."
"Wha.....how do you know my name?" Brock asked.
