Chapter 4: Jaunedice

It was Combat Class, and Seth was called up against Cardin.

Cardin was panting hard, and Seth, in his armor, stood there, intimidatingly, with his Energon Blades out, and ready to defend and strike.

Cardin then charged, and Seth just blocked the blow, and kicked him in the gut, and finished with a X slash!

Cardin stood there for a minute, and then he fell back, as his Aura Broke.

Goodwitch then said, "Well done Mr. Eaton. As you can see class, Mr. Winchester's Aura is depleted, and no longer able to battle."

"He was also too focused on brute force," said Seth, "If you just go into a battle with no back up plan, you may not see the light of day again at the end. I'M LOOKING AT YOU YANG AND NORA!!!"

The two women just laughed nervously, while rubbing the back of their necks.

Seth then walked back to his seat as the bell rang.

"And that is the end of class. Remember everyone, the Vytal Festival is only a few months away! It won't be long before students from other kingdoms arrive, so keep practicing!"

The gang then headed out, with Cardin, accidentally knocking Jaune over, only to get punched through the wall by Seth.

At Lunch Time, Nora was telling a story, with Ren correcting her.

"So, there we were, in the middle of the night."

"It was day."

"There were Ursai!"

"They were Beowolves."

"Dozens of them!!!"

"There were two of them."

"But they were no match!! Ren and I defeated them, and made a boat load of Lien selling Ursa Skin Rugs!!"

"Um, don't Grimm turn to ash the moment they are killed?" asked Seth.

"You don't know that," said Nora, "Alien boy!"

"She's been having this recurring dream for months now," said Ren.

Jaune was just playing with his food, when Pyrrha noticed he was down a bit.

"You okay Jaune?" she asked.

"Yeah," said Jaune, "I'm just fine, see?" and he forced a fake smile.

"It's Cardin, isn't it?" asked Pyrrha.

"What? Cardin Winchester? He just likes to play practical jokes."

"He's a bully," said Ruby.

"Name one time he bullied me."

Seth then pulled up his helmet, and used his visor to make holograms of Cardin knocking Jaune's books out of his hands, using the Blonde's shield to block his way through the door, and Cardin shoving Jaune in a locker, only to see Seth glaring at him, and cracking his knuckles.

Everyone looked at Jaune, and he said, "I didn't land THAT far from the school."

Just then, they heard someone cry out in pain.

They turned to see a Rabbit Faunus' ears being pulled on by Cardin.

"What a freak!" said Russel, only to get mohawk shot clean off.

Everyone turned to see Seth looking at a book in his right hand, and his left hand with an Ion Blaster smoking.

"THAT, was a warning shot," said Seth, not even looking up, "Next time, I won't miss."
