In a blink of an eye, I ended up being at the beach.
Ni-ki dragged me along the shore, giggling and smiling as he ran.
We ran into the waters, splashing on each other. The bright smile he gave and his radiant energy made me so happy.. his whole presence was ethereal.
Little did I know, after 10 years of being best friends..
"Will you be the moon to my sun?"
I stayed silent, not knowing how to answer him. Breaking down in tears, I nodded. He engulfed me in a tight hug, and I finally felt safe, for once, I think I met the true love of my life. I thought that I could finally, enjoy my miserable life.
