"Where are you going?" Kuya asked. Damn. I thought I can leave the house without anyone noticing.
"To school," I answered honestly. It's almost 9 and I just finished breakfast. Ayoko ma-late.
"It's Friday, though?"
"Yeah but I have org work."
"Since when are you interested in orgs?" sabi niya pagkatapos kumuha ng tubig. He was looking at me suspiciously and that's only when I remembered that I haven't told anybody in my family about me shifting course yet.
I cleared my throat. "Since today," sabi ko na lang bago ako tuluyang umalis. 'Pag nagtagal pa ako roon ay baka lalo pa niya akong tanungin. I can't tell him what org I am in, 'no!
"O here na si Fianna, ask her. I bet you, she's gonna ditch na naman," sabi ni Chantal nang makaupo ako sa tabi niya. Inirapan pa ako nito.
I said hi to Aera on the phone. Seems like she's out and about again.
"Hoy, Fianna. Later may set, ha!" sagot niya.
"Aw, pass. It's weekend, I'mma go home to my mansion."
"See!"
"Ang daya niyo! Alam niyo, kayo, malapit na ako magtampo. Nag punta kayo sa bonfire ng SNU nang hindi man lang ako inaaya!" pagdadabog niya.
"Bitch, I wasn't gonna go! Ask Joie," sabi ko dahil totoo naman. "Chantal was there for the vlog." I shrugged.
"Yup, definitely not into those hunks."
"Yeah, unlike you and Joie," I added up, laughing. I remember how Joie was so rabid about the pictures on my phone. At one point, he was about to pay me some real money for a fucking photo. Couldn't be me!
"Sus! Then explain why ka nginitian n'ung player noon?" Chantal brought up. "Yie!" I made a disgusted face and pushed her away. She was so giddy you'd think it was her the basketball player smiled at.
"Girl, kala ko ba wala kang crush doon? Bakit parang ikaw naman 'yung kinikilig diyan?" Sabi ni Aera. I immediately agreed and just like that, si Chantal na ang ni-ro-roast namin.
"Don't fuck with me, Fianna. Akala mo ba nakalimutan ko nang binigyan mo ng coffee si Zavier Orcino?" Tumawa pa siya ng malakas. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. I already told them why, though?
"Ikaw, Fianna, ha. Mahilig ka pala sa mga iskolar ng bayan." Sabay silang tumawa. I couldn't care less so I just flipped them the finger.
I don't even know Zavier also plays for that school, and I absolutely didn't go to the bonfire to see him or anybody at that.
We ate lunch at Mary Grace after the org meeting was done. Since it's a Friday and I have nothing better to do in the condo, I told my friends to meet me.
"Sayang wala si Joie," Aera said. She's busy ogling every passerby while we finish some school works in the coffee shop. Well, they are taking a rest. I am currently finishing a plate. "Ang dami talagang eye candy dito."
It's taking a while for me to get the outcome I want for my plate so I ordered another piece of mango cake. My conscience won't let me sit my ass here for another hour without getting another plate of sweets.
