*back at the tent*

The family had gathered around eating dinner, obviously in silence, everyone still shaken from the morning, none was looking at neteyam and neteyam was just staring down at his food. Jakes hate for awkward moments compelled him and he decided to eliminate with the question "neteyam, do you really love this boy?", neteyam looked up at his father with a confused expression, "y-yes sir", he replied, "and do you really think that this relationship will work out and you two will stay LOVING forever?" Neytiri chimed in, "of course!" Neteyam replied again, neytiri and Jake looked at eachother, then back at him. "Then I guess.. it's fine for you to talk with him without our permission" neytiri declared, neteyam let out a smile, he knew exactly what he was going to the next time he saw him.

The family had gone to sleep, of course it was harder for neteyam, he was now able to freely be with his mate, none to judge them and tell them other wise. The next morning neteyam was the first to get up, and left his home roaming to the oceanside, to his suprise aonung was there, just sitting staring off into the distance, even then he was mesmerising to neteyam.

Aonung felt a soft tap on his shoulder, quickly staring up to see his partner, "I see you're awake, and by the looks of it your family let you meet up with me?", neteyam smiled, "yeah, they said I was free to talk to you whenever I wanted!" "I knew it, it's like I know ur family more than you do ", neteyam smiled, sat down next to him, leaning onto his shoulder. Aonung wrapped his arm around neteyams waist, giving him a kiss on the forehead, to which neteyam laid a passionate kiss on aonungs lips.

The couple stayed there until the sun fully rose.
