"I swear.... This luck stat is complete bullshit!" Puck screams as he high knees it away from a horde of reapers.
Reapers we're undead creatures that looked like the grim reaper himself, complete with glowing red eyes and gigantic black scythes to match.
And over a hundred of these things were chasing him at the moment.
Why?
Well the answer to that question was quite simple actually.

Once Puck's vision returned to him, he found himself dropped in a heap.
He let out a small grunt in pain as he slowly got to his feet. The test examiner was standing directly in front of him, grinning down at Puck's confused and disheveled form with a excited look in his eyes.
Puck simply brushed himself off with a small sigh. "A warning would've been appreciated...." He mumbled this more to himself than anything, but Billy heard him loud and clear.
The grin that appeared on Billy's face was absolutely terrifying and it sent a shiver down Puck's spine. "Heh, yeah! Sorry about that! But I think it's time for me to do my job as an examiner." He says, crossing his arms. "First, a quick question. Do you know what the different numbers in your status mean?"
Puck gave him a confused and slightly annoyed look at this. "Huh? If course! Who doesn't?! Anyone with two braincells and basic game knowledge could figure it out!"

The main reason why they hired me as your examiner instead of the usual S Ranked awakeners they have in hand.... Is because of my ability to aggro a large number of high ranking mobs at once from a great distance! You see, the higher ups are REALLY interested in that Luck stat of yours! So.... I guess what I'm trying to say is.... Sorry in advance!" He exclaims before taking in a deep breath.
The entire time Puck listened to Billy's explanation, a bad feeling starting to grip his stomach.
He couldn't explain why, but there was this weird sense of danger that appeared ever since they entered the dungeon.
It was luck his new awakener instincts were telling him to stay on guard.
And when Billy finished his explanation....
He finally understood why.
Puck watched with horror as the red haired guild master suddenly threw his head back and let out a ungodly scream like roar.
A visible red shockwave of energy was launched out in all directions from the guild master's body, knocking Puck off his feet.
Puck was too busy covering his ears while curled up in a ball on the ground to notice when his examiner disappeared from sight.
His parting words being, "Good luck. You'll need it~!"
Not that Puck could hear him at all, but by the time Puck had regained his senses....
