The main story is going to be written in a journal format from Adam's point of view.
Adam's soul is connected to the power, as was mentioned in the description, this means that he can build anything he wants in Live Mode straight from his mind, no physical labor needed. The people that were brought to life need to build anything and everything they make by hand though.
Because it's bound to his soul Adam also cannot get rid of the app. He dropped his phone one too many times and has to get a new one? Guess what the first app on the new phone is? Did he use the cloud? No? Great.
No, but in the story itself he's going to get different phones over time. The story is going to happen over a few years span after all. So this is the canonical explanation I came up with for it.Adam was also able to write out personality descriptions for the characters while he made them. Those with these descriptions cannot betray what is written. They can still grow and change, but they are physically incapable of developing a characteristic that goes against what was written.
Those without written personalities will just develop their own without limitations.
They also cannot die from old age, but they could kill each other. And Adam could also kill them. Just like with building though, they would have to hurt the other to kill then and Adam could literally just will them out of existence.
They know this and fear Adam because of it. They also do not have memories of growing up unless it is written that they had whatever happen in their childhood. And even then it is possible for them to remember only that one thing about their childhood and nothing else.
