I gladly arrived at work 10 minutes before it started I was surprised at how big the stadium was, I walked inside and saw a wall with pictures and the names of all the players some of them were missing I didn't question it I walked to the main office and asked where I could find the doctor or what I was supposed to do they told me to go to the right and then to the left and I would find a room that would say Valeri she would be my boss and I would just have to knock on the door.
And I did just that.
"Hello, my name is Elena López" I never used González in my name, it was just too long.
" OH yes come in" she introduced herself and told me that I would be shadowing her for the time that I was here. she told me that today we would be doing paperwork she would show me how to do it and I would have to fill in a couple of things before we get started on the real stuff I would only get to meet the players in about 2 or 3 weeks I first had to feel how the job was and how to properly do it. Of course, agreed it made sense but then she asked me a question that I found strange
" Elena you remind me of someone do you have any siblings"
" No" I didn't feel like reliving the past at this point. If someone were to ask me if I had a brother or any siblings I would just say no why go back to something that I know I will never have again?
" Oh ok I have to go and check up on the team but if you would like you can start organizing the office."
I agreed and she left. I put my AirPods on and I started cleaning. There were a bunch of papers everywhere I put them in three piles. I was in my zone when somebody tapped me on the shoulder. I jumped up and I was terrified. I turn around to see a tall man standing behind me.
"Hey, I'm Ferran you must be the new girl"
"yup that's me but my name is Elena"
" So Elena did you meet the team yet"
" nope Valeri told me I would only meet you all in 2 or 3 weeks" I may have added a bit of sass in there but I didn't have time to be doing small talk, the office was really messy
" Well, then would you like to meet the team" he looked at me and then smirked.
" YEA,... but when did you see how messy this place is?"
"Yes but tonight there is this supper thing to celebrate the coach's birthday it would be the perfect place for you to meet the team" he looked at me then looked at the table and my phone and picked it up he put his number in my phone " I will pick you up at six texts me your address".
I nodded and he left. The rest of the day went by really fast Valerie came to see me once or twice and we worked together on a couple of other paperwork things it was the end of the day I decided to walk back home and the minute I got into the apartment I texted Ferran my address he texts me a thumbs up and told me he would be there at 6 and not to be late.
After I texted him it was 4:30 I decided to take a shower, blow dry my hair and then do my makeup and get ready, I've always been indecisive. I didn't know what to wear. I had two options: a nice pink dress or a red one.
In the end, I just did a number generator in between one or two and it landed on the red one. I marched the red dress with a gold necklace and like always my gold bracelet. I put my heels on and touched up my makeup and I got a text from Ferran that he was outside waiting for me.
I took my purse and when I went to go to him I saw that he was driving a Lambo and he was waiting outside of his car. He opened the door for me and we drove off.
