"I never was any good at telling stories...can never get em started right. Honestly, it's always been easiest for me to just pick up somewhere in the middle and catch up on details later. Our story is like that, ya know? Confusing in the beginning, but more clear as the details settle in." I let out a heavy sigh. "I thought it was, at least."
"And what makes you say that?"
I thought for a moment before letting out an uneasy chuckle. "Like I said, I'm not really good at this."
"Then why don't you start somewhere in the middle." I looked up to meet her eyes, but simply found the glare from her thin rimmed glasses. "And the details will settle in."
