In no time, they got into Hogsmeade station, where Hagrid met the first years to go to the boats. The rest went by carriage. Cassie and Scoop got into a boat with their friends. They were in awe of the castle since it was their first time seeing the school. Their friends are used to seeing the castle yearly because of the reunion ball. Hagrid helped each first year off the boats when he spotted Albus and Roxanne. He greets them and asks about their friends. Albus introduces Kitty, Oliver, Cassie, and Scorps. He smiled at them and reminded Albus about his visit for tea. Albus nodded and continued walking away. Cassie noticed the attitude Albus went toward Hagrid.

--: "Hello, I am Cassie, and I hope to see you around Hagrid. If Albus can't come and have tea with you, my brother, and me," said Cassie.

--: "Ah, thank you, Cassie," said Hagrid.

--: "Your welcome, Hagrid," said Cassie walking along with the rest of the first years. Then they walk up the stairs to see Professor Longbottom. He is the new head of Gryffindor house and an herbology professor. The students were in awe of his appearance and filled around him. He said his speech in the past couple of years about each house with its characteristics. He then told them to line up to start their walk to the Great Hall. As they walked the tables with the students of the past year, they were seated to see their new first years and bet on who was getting the Potter and Weasley children. Regarding the sorting ceremony, it took too long to get into the names everyone was waiting for. Once the name of Albus Potter was announced, Albus moved up to the stool and breath in and out as the sorting hat decided his faith in the house. The hat took no time to say Sylerin house. The entire room was quiet. No one expected a Potter in Slytherin's house. Albus moves to his house table in silence. Neville continued the ceremony to reach Kitty and Oscar's names, where they were sorted to Gryffindor. Then Cassie and Scoop Malfoy turn to the sorting hat to see which house they will be in. For Scorps, sorting and going to Slytherin, their father's house, was easy. For Cassie, it was harder to sort because she could fit into three houses: Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and Slytherin. She closed her eyes and said her mother's house. The hat announces it. Again, the hall grew silent when they knew that a Malfoy had ended up in Gryffindor. Cassie went to her table alongside Kitty and Oliver. Penelope was snorted into Slytherin after Cassie went to the Gryffindor table. Then came Roxanne, who got to Gryffindor and sat beside Cassie.

--: "If people knew who your mum was, then there would be cheers," said Roxanne in a whisper to Cassie. Cassie nodded as she ate her food because the feast had begun. Later they were shown to their dormitories. Kitty smiled at the dorm since it was her mother's old dorm. She chose her mother's old bed and told Cassie to take the left bed from her. Roxanne took the right bed, which was her mother's old bed. The girls started to talk about quidditch and dressing robes for the ball before they went to bed.

Albus and Scorps went to Slytherin first-year dorms, where they selected their beds. They talked a bit about their lives and then went to bed.

For the next couple of days, the Hogwarts students got used to being back in school. The first years were a change from being in a boarding school for the first time. For Cassie, Kitty, Roxanne, and Oscar, it was a pranking heave of not having their siblings as targets instead of other people. As well as get to do some magic around their peers. Albus was difficult to be the only Potter in Slytherin, and people made fun of him. Scorpious always defended him and looked after Albus, as did Cassie, Katie, Penelope, Roxanne, and Oscar. The friends grew closer as they studied before term started and hung out in the quad. Victor checks on his siblings before continuing with his friend's antics. The kids already send their owls with their sorted houses to their parents. Then was their first flying lesson before term started. Oliver started earlier than other professors to see quidditch tryouts and separate the first-year class from basic level fling to advance and begin for quidditch drills on some. He had the first years lined up with the school's brooms ready to do the basic command of up. Cassie, Kitty, Penelope, Oscar, and Scorpious's brooms have risen to their hands. As for the others, it was tricky until they all got their brooms into their hands. Oliver showed them how to mount the broom; by the time his demonstration was over, Cassie, Kitty, Oscar, Penepole, and Scorpious were climbed and ready to fly as they had before with Viktor and Katie. Oliver went to help out the students that were struggling with their mounting of the broom. He instructed those who were mounted to stay put.
