Dream was a prince. He was a prince of the kingdom of umbris. I say was because when he was younger, his parents found out he had powers. They thought he was a freak of nature so they faked his death and locked him away in the dungeons, they wanted him to die but because of his powers he wouldn't, he just had to be miserable down in the dungeons since he was 9. He's 20 now.

Sapnap, a royal guard who was 21, always wondered why nobody was allowed in the dungeon. Even the guards had to stay outside, the only people that went in was the king or queen every month or so.

For the past week, I've been planning to go into the dungeons. I know it's forbidden, but I want to know what's down there. It was currently 12 a.m., and I was walking to the dungeons. There are no guards there at this hour. On one's dares to go down there because of the many threats from the king and queen. It is kinda suspicious that they have a dungeon, we have many prisons in the kingdom, and I've never seen anyone be taken into the dungeon.

I reached the dungeon doors and opened them. It was really dark, so I turned on my flashlight and closed the door behind me. The place was pretty creepy and quiet, that was until I heard what sounded like crying. I immediately walk towards the sound, and im shocked to see a person, 'he looks to be around my age and even kinda cute.' I thought. I immediately shook my head when I thought that, and then I noticed something. He had the same scar as the prince, the one that is dead. He also looks just like him but older

I was crying in the corner of my cell. I had another really bad nightmare. He didn't even try to stop himself from crying. No one was there to see, or so i thought. Then someone said, "Hello?" I immediately looked over to the direction the voice came from. I was kinda scared and quietly said "hi." The person grabbed some keys off the wall and walked over to my cell "What's your name? Are you hurt? Why are you down here?" The person asked,

   I thought for a second and said, "I'm daydream or dream for short, yes I am, and my parents locked me down here because they think im a freak," I mumbled "your daydream? As in the dead prince?!" He asked. "Yeah, what's your name, and why are you down here?" I ask, "Oh im sapnap, I snuck down here because I was curious," he said, and then started to look through the keys. He eventually found the key he was looking for and surprisingly unlocked the door to my cell.
