Chapter 3

I walked to school, eyes red and blurred vision. My school uniform was creased and my tie undone. I was a mess.
I slowly strolled up the grand stairs to the entrance of moorland academy.
There in front of me was Megan.

"Are you crying because your boyfriend kissed another girl, Cat"
"I thought you were my friend Megan." Tears rolling down my cheek.
"aww, poor Caterina trying to act all tough. I've got a new boyfriend now, his name is..."
Noah comes over with a casual white tee and jeans. My fave look on him.
Megan grabs his hand and says "my new boyfriend Noah Vanderswerk"

I stare into Noah's eyes feeling no connection at all. At that moment my whole body sunk.
I sprinted away from the school, across the road, down the hill and into my house. Tears ran down my face as I slammed the door and slid down the wall and cried for hours and hours until no tears came.

"Cat, cat wake up!"
My eyes opened and there was my mum creases upon her forehead.
"I thought you would be at school. Are you ill?"
"No mum, I'm just a little bit upset, don't worry about me."
My mum kissed me on the forehead.
"It'll all be okay." And she walked out my room.
