Chapter 3 Daily Life: The Chaos We Call Hope

DAY 8
Mono: Good morning everyone it is now 7 a.m. and as such the Community Centre is now unlocked.

Geno: Four people, four people are dead....in the span of a week four people died...and we still have to be here...

Geno: *sigh* well I'd better get going...

(I open my door and see Darin about to knock on my door.)

Darin: Hey Eno, I was wondering if you wanted to get an early start on investigating.

Geno: So you've started to call me "Eno" now?

Darin: Well...okay to be honest I just wanted something to remember Tim by. He didn't deserve what happened to him...

Geno: I agree.

Darin: Well let's check the map now.

(So Eno and I opened our E-Hanbooks and pulled up the map.)

Geno: So there's an apartment complex and a pond?

Darin: Well I doubt that there's any important there, so we should go and see the apartment complex first.

Geno: Shouldn't we tell the others first?

Darin: It's the day after the trial, I doubt that there will be people thinking that there's been a murder.

Geno: Oh...well in that case we should get going.

Geno: ( So Darin and I left the Inn and walked to the apartments and I noticed that there was a beautiful snowfall going on.)

Darin: Ugh, If I knew that it was going to snow, then I would have worn a hat.

Geno: What's wrong with getting some snow in your hair.

Darin: ...It reminds me of my family...back when they were still around...

Geno: Oh, did you use to live here?

Darin: I used to live near the base of the mountain, in an apartment complex that had a similar shape to the one we are going to now.

Geno: Well what happened?

Geno: (We had completely stopped in the snow.)

Darin: ...an avalanche happened on a day like this...and out of my family...only I survived.

Geno: (What...? That?)

Geno: Are you...an orphan?

Darin: Yeah, none of my family wanted me...

Geno: ...

Geno: You want to know an embarrassing fact about me.

Darin: I guess?
