The day Hannah died, I was happy. Not because she died, of course, but because I got an A on my semester work in English, and my mom took me shopping, and we laughed a lot. Hannah's mother led me up to her room. She told me to take anything I wanted. I wanted everything. I didn't want to be reminded of her, but I wanted to remember everything about her. I remember the day we met. I remember the first time she smiled at me. I remember the day she started playing soccer, so she could train with me. Why?:
This is one of those books that either you understand or you don't, there is no in between. And I didn't understand it, but now I would give everything to read it again but this time understanding it, I don't know how before I didn't realize how identifying this book is (I literally realized it a month ago).
