The cave was her home, it was unusual but she adored it. Usually there would be humans climbing up the cliff above her but today was different, something unsettled her.

Moving her knees into her chest protecting her body from the harsh wind that was blowing in through the entrance. Waiting for the storm to pass until she could go back outside to find her next prey, she rocks back and forward trying to lull herself into a meditative state- the closest thing she could get to sleep.

Once the sun had gone down, her body jerked into motion. Bringing her out of the state, walking cautiously to the caves entrance making sure that the sun was fully gone. From the outside that was the only thing that gave her vampire side away, her eyes a piercing blue most likely inherited from her late mother.

A sigh left her body as the sand hit her feet. Having to hide in the day, agitated her immensely but that's the cost of residing in a town, not that it was sunny to begin with but random rays of sun that shone down throughout the day made her paranoid.

Walking up the path that she usually followed towards the main town, she slipped the shoes she'd taken from a girl who wouldn't need them because she was drained right before they were stolen.

Forks was pretty at night, the town lights decorating the streets. The occasional lights through kitchen windows and faint talking of citizens, sometimes she craved for a house of her own with a mother or father but as time passed she came to sense that she wouldn't have one nor need one.

Walking down a street she had never gone down before she stops in front of a house which she had been watching earlier this morning. Marking her next victim, giving herself a minute to take a breath. She circles the house before jumping feet first through the window, finding herself to be in the bathroom.

Luck was on her side, nobody stirred and she was able to creep throughout the house navigating her way to the main bedroom knowing that's where the owner of the house slept. Grinning to herself, she pounces on the body and quickly covering the man to make as much as a muffled scream.

Sinking her teeth into his throat quickly sucking down the blood, draining him empty before removing her bite marks to make the death look more natural. Exiting the way she came, looking around before running into the bushes opposite the house.

Not noticing the blonde haired female standing by the light pole, observing what had just went down. Hearing everything from inside the house, she knew Carlisle would need to and want to know immediately.
