"Mr. Kaiba, sir do you have a moment?"

Yami asked from the door before entering.

"What is it?"

"It's about my assignment"

"Well get on with it"

He asked impatiently. Yami took a deep breathe.

"Sir, you or anyone didn't inform me about going after Atem's allies"

"Why should that matter to you?"

He asked crossing his arms over his chest.

"B-because this is my assignment. I should know everything that is being plan before I come face to face with him"

"We came after Atem's allies not Atem himself. Your assignment is to keep him busy, distracted and gather information about him"

"But the allies..."

"The restaurant that you inform me on in your report showed that it was a hot spot where deals, exchanges are made and other big criminals but like I said it's no concern to you. Now if you have any questions or doubts about your assignment write it in paper"

He said coldly. Yami sadly looked down in defeat before leaving the office.

*Month Later*

"You haven't sent updates on your report, Agent Yami"

Agent Kaiba said sternly to Yami who was sitting behind his desk. Yami looks to his boss before sadly looking down.

"What's the hold up?"

He asked. Yami let out a sigh as he moved away from his laptop.

"Sir, there haven't been nothing for me to report"

Yami said lying smoothly. Agent Kaiba smirk as he looked to his best Agent.

"Clearly or maybe you've been having your head way up in the clouds"

"What?"

"While, I had you distract Atem, I sent in another recruiter to pose as a guard to snatched all the information"

Yami was stunned before standing up from his chair.

"Why didn't you tell me? I mean you could have count on me to..."

"The plans have change, you were taking too long"

"But sir..."

Yami said standing up in shock but Kaiba cut him off.

"There is no need to worry and that promotion you were getting has now been given to someone else who takes their job seriously"

"I do take my job seriously"

Yami said sternly.

"From recordings, it seems you rather enjoy yourself with Atem and forgot the real reason why you are there in the first place"

He said heatedly causing Yami to blush in embarrassment as he looked down in shame.

"Sir, can you please tell me when you're going to raid on Atem?"

He asked quietly refusing to look to his boss.

"You will know when we are at the door. I want the report by the end of the day"

He said walking away leaving Yami to his thoughts.

"Yes sir"

He said in defeat as he slump down on his chair.
