The Meeting

Elijah was coming home from work one day, He checked how much gas he had left and he noticed he was running a bit low. He went and stopped at the nearest gas station, But it looked abandoned so he went inside the convenience store to see if anyone was inside. "Hello" Elijah called out, but no one answered, He looked around a bit more and to his horror he saw dead bodies across the floor. He looked around some more and noticed a little girl hiding behind a shelf and called out he wasn't gonna hurt her and to come on out as she emerged slowly. "Where are your parents" Elijah asked, The little girl almost in tears replied "Some big scary men came in and started shooting everyone, I hid so they would not find me". "Oh my" said Elijah "dont worry I'll take care of you" So they filled up on gas and Elijah took the little girl home.
