Lee was about to make his way toward the door that held their escape. He was about to run through it, but he was abruptly and rudely stopped by Larry. Lee held a pleading expression on his face. Looking over a fearful Clementine, tears threatening to fall from her eyes as Carley held her.

"YOU, are not coming with us, stay out!!" said Larry, holding Lee back from the door. Lee expected the worst to happen in that moment, which it did. He got to meet and have a not-so-great greeting with Larry's fist upon his face, making Lee dizzy in the process.

He could hear the crawling zombie behind him getting closer and closer each second, looking to devour its only meal for a while. His vision was blurry as he saw Kenny reach out his hand. Lee gratefully accepted his offer.

"I'm not letting someone else get eaten today, especially a really good friend," said Kenny, pulling Lee up off the ground to help him to the RV. As Lee got in, he looked around for Carley and Clementine.

"Are you serious, we can't bring him with us," said Larry, angry that Kenny brought him aboard. Lee was so glad that Clementine had been safe. He wasnt sure what he would have done, had she been eaten, or even left behind with those things, whatever they were. He was pulled from his thoughts when he heard Kenny turn back to Larry from the drivers seat, ready to throw back a counter argument.

"Look, LARRY, Im the one driving, so I get to say who goes and who stays, which none of you are staying here," said Kenny, currently quite annoyed with Lilly's father at the moment. As he was driving, he had the thought to turn on the radio for potential advice or instructions from anybody that was willing to help. He turned it on, only to be met with a static frequency, which wasnt surprising in the least. All the radio stations were either overrun or abandoned.

He kept going along the stations for any frequency that he could pick up. He luckily found one that was transmitting, but faint.

'The United States Army handles a specific governmental radio frequency in case of global or international disaster. The following stations correspond to the following Army, Air Force, Marines, and Navy as well as National Guard US military bases. Fort Benning, frequency 102.5 AM, base located in Columbus, Georgia. Fort Hood, frequency 115.6 FM, base located in Fort Hood, Texas. Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, frequency 908.8 AM, base located in RXWR+74 Washington, District of Columbia.' said the automated radio voice coming from the speakers.

Kenny thought about it for a moment before speaking up. All of them would be much safer at a military base, rather than trying to fend for themselves. He decided it was worth a risk. He was about to put it to a vote before more information came from the speakers.

'All other US owned military bases have relocated their equipment and troops to bases previously mentioned. If any survivors are present near the previously mentioned bases, we advise you to seek shelter within those bases immediately. The current state of events does not require any personage to carry a photo ID, nor does it require any personage to be a citizen of the 50 US States of America. Bases currently operating are accepting any groups, families, or individuals who are in need of shelter at the this current time. Each base is currently doing its best to file in as many people as physically possible. As previously mentioned, we advise each and every survivor to take into account of these suggestions. We hope that all who are listening are safe at this time.' finished the announcer. The radio station cut back to static as everyone in the RV was silent.

Kenny thought it over once more before making his decision to speak up. He was somewhat worried that everyone was going to be outraged at what they had just heard. He decided to take the risk of everyone being mad at him, in exchange for their safety at one of the three military bases they had options for.

"I dont know what y'all are thinking, but I really think we all need to head down to Columbus as soon as possible to reach that base. What is everyones thoughts on that?" said Kenny, hoping that everyone was up to it. He was really hoping that this would work out, they didnt exactly have anywhere else to go these days.

"I say we go for it," said Lee, looking over at Clementine, who was leaning on Carleys shoulder, looking as though she was going to fall asleep. He smiled at her, hoping that he was going to be able to take care of her.

"Do you know how far it is, or how long its going to take to get there?" asked Katjaa. She was worried that this plan was going to have problems, thinking that one zombie was going to make its way into the base.

"I want to say its about 100 miles, a little over an hour and a half. Ill get us there dont you worry, hon. The rest of y'all should rest on the way there. Its been some day hasnt it Lee?" Kenny said while he turned off the radio to give the rest of them some quiet.

"That it has man, that it has," said Lee, following Kenny's advice, shutting his eyes for the trip. He really needed the rest, especially since he had used most of his energy saving Clementine, which he was more than willing to do, or using his energy to fend walkers off of himself. Lee decided not to think too much about what had just happened back at his parents pharmacy. He, Carley and Clementine, as well as the rest of the group were safe, thats what mattered right now.

Lee closed his eyes to try and get some sleep, not having energy for much else. He had been too tired to notice that Carley had fallen asleep on his shoulder. If Carley was honest with herself, she had been too tired to really care about what she was doing anyway. Had she been awake, she would have thought it was very awkward, leaning on Lee like she was doing, but decided she just needed sleep. As she leaned on Lee, she felt Clementine shift in her sleep slightly, but not enough to worry about her well-being.

They were on their way to a military base. Everyone was hoping that they would be able to provide the security, safety, and shelter that everyone needed right now. They would just have to see it for themselves when they got there.
