CAN'T GET ENOUGH

Chapter One

I don't know if I am really looking forward to this year, at all. I'm walking through the halls and I feel like a ghost. I'm a sophomore and still don't get invited to anyone's parties. I am just a lonely kid in the corner with my two besties, Cora and Ashlyne.

We were never really the popular type of people but we still tried our best to be at least invited to a party whenever we could.

I guess it's just me at this point, Cora and Ashlyne are both fine they've been to a couple but I'm the one who gets bullied by the "big jock" in school. Cameron, everyone calls him Cam for short.

This has been happening since the 7th grade. It's like he's obsessed with me or something. But it's not one of those "I bully you because I like you" no no no. this is not the case. Cause one, he is dating Chloe of course. And two. I am the "nerd" at this school.

I don't really like putting labels on people but sometimes it's just easier for me to do. So that's what I will continue to do until I don't.

"What's up Sisi" He knows I hate it when he calls me that.

"Cam," I said that as sarcastically as possible.

"Aw, what's wrong? can't put a smile on your face for just a couple of seconds" he's putting his bottom lip out to make it look like he's pouting.

"Just go away Cam I'm not in the mood for this today." I am trying to do the lock to get into my locker.

"What's the big deal, Sid? Just smile once for me?"

I turn around to look him in the eyes and give him the most pathetic smile just so he will leave me alone.

One of Cam's friends comes up behind him

"What are you doing talking to this NERD Cam, you guy's friends?"

Oh, it's just Ben.

"PFT, Me? friends with Cam? never."

I think I put Cam in a bad mood because he walks away. Ben stays.

"Looks like someone's on their period."

That's what did it for me. I take a step closer to Ben and punch him right in the gut, he falls to his knees. Wasn't even that hard.

Ben gets up after a while looks me square in the eye and then walks over to his friend group where Cam is.

I don't think I can deal with this for the rest of the year.

"Sidneyyy, what's up how's school going so far?"

"CORA!"

I haven't seen her in over a week, we were planning on doing it the day before school started but it never happened.

"Have you seen Ash anywhere?" She says

"Nah but she's probably in the library making out with a dude."

We both laugh cause we know it's true, she started ganging a bunch of popularity last year. She started dressing better and bought more makeup, and used it ofc. She stopped talking to Cora and me as much as she used to, but we both know that she's the same old Ashlyn, just growing up a bit.

"Wanna go check?"

I just nod cause why not?

We start walking and everyone is staring at me like I just committed the biggest felony known to man kind, which I didn't but who cares, I look over at Cam's group and the two girls in it are whispering and giggling then look over at me then quickly look back at each other and laugh again.

Just what their kind of people do.

I wonder if there's a rumour about me, that would make sense.

"You think there's a rumour about you or something? Why's everyone looking at you?"

"I WAS JUST THINKING THAT"

"Great minds think alike."

We're at the front of the library so we both look in through the glass door, and boom there she is. Reading a book?

"Ash, since when did you start reading books?"

"Since forever Sid what do you mean? Why do you think I come to the library in the first place?"

Cora turns around and start 'making out' with herself and doing the hand movements everywhere on her body, then right before stopping she slaps her ass and starts laughing, so I do too.

"Shut up you guy's I do not do that here!"

"Oh yeah then where do you do it then?" Cora asks

"Well, you know. Places.."

Ash starts blushing of embarreront cause she knows it's true, at every moment she gets she will bring a guy in here to 'look' at books with her around the corner in the back, where all the history books are. Also where no one goes. Why read a book when you can just go online?

"We gotta get to our classes, wish luck upon us to finally get classes togetherrr"

We all twist our fingers and go our separate ways. I look at my phone to look at where im supposed to be and it's in class 226, I'm praying Cora and ash are in my class this year. Cause if not, I'm jumping out of a window.
