Tommy woke up in a cold sweat, remembering none of his dream. He also woke up with something else.

Hunger.

He hadn't eaten anything in the last four days. He needed food. As he got up, he saw Tubbo sleeping on the floor. He debated waking him up, and decided to do just that.

"Tubbo," Tommy said as he shook the boy awake. "Tubbo I'm hungry." In response to this, Tubbo groaned and rolled over.

"Why can't you get your own food?" Tubbo asked, groggily.

"I don't know places Tubbo. Where to food."

"You sound like a fucking child."

"Shut the fuck up. Where to food."

"Give me a second and I'll help you find where to food," Tubbo responded in an annoyed tone.

~~~~~
Tommy ran downstairs with shit tons of energy. And hunger. But mostly energy.
"How the fuck are you not tired?" Tubbo responded, still rather tired from his rude awakening.
"I dunno," Tommy responded. "Show me where to food now." Tommy was swinging his bat at random things.
"You are annoying."
"Yep."
~~~~~

Tubbo and Tommy were in the abandoned convenience store that was close to where their base was and Tommy was awestruck. He had never seen a place like that before.

"Tommy it's literally just a convenience store. It's not that great."

Tommy could barely hear the aggravated boy over his running throughout the store, slightly hobbling due to his leg. While growing up the only things he had eaten was shitty bread and sometimes grass.

"TUBBO," The blond boy yelled back to his friend. "WHAT THE HELL IS A TWINKIE?"

"ITS LIKE THIS WEIRD THING WITH STUFF IN IT."

"THAT DOESN'T HELP."

"JUST EAT ONE AND FIND OUT."

"YOU POISONED THEM, DIDN'T YOU?" Tommy accused.

"I HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN HERE BEFORE!"

"THAT'S WHAT A CRIMINAL WOULD SAY, TUBBO. I'M SENDING YOU TO JAIL." Tommy started to run toward Tubbo.

"YOU FUCKING WONT, BITCH." Tubbo started to run in a different direction, flipping Tommy off while doing so.

Instead of chasing him further, Tommy decided to throw stuff at him. The blond boy took the Twinkie that was in his hand, unwrapped it, and threw it at Tubbo, watching it hit the back of his shirt with the cream shit on the inside splattering. Tubbo turned around and looked at Tommy with a part disgusted, part annoyed face and Tommy started cackling. Tubbo then grabbed some weird cookie thing and chucked it at Tommy, hitting his chest. The two of them spent a while throwing various food items at each other when they finally got tired. They then grabbed some food and attempted to wash themselves off with bottled water, working surprisingly well.

"Wanna go on the roof?" Tubbo asked, which Tommy immediately agreed to.

"Bet I can make it there first!" Tommy yelled out as he started running to a staircase towards the back. Tubbo chased after him, unsurprisingly loosing.

"That wasn't fair," Tubbo panted. "You got a head start."

Tommy and Tubbo sat on the roof as to where their legs were dangling off. They had taken some Coke and some sour candy shit from the store. They were looking out at the bloodstained sky before them. Despite the fact that this was the end of the world, it was almost beautiful if you looked at it right.

"Tubbo," Tommy said, taking a sip from his Coke. "I have something to tell you."

"This better not be you coming out." Tubbo joked. Tommy threw a Sour Patch Kid at him.

"Shut up," Tommy replied to Tubbo's joke, laughing. "But what I was going to say is that you are the first friend I have ever had." Tommy looked as serious as he could look.

"Damn that's.... sad," Tubbo replied, laughing.

"Shut the fuck up." Tommy throwed another Sour Patch Kid at Tubbo, who caught it in his mouth.

"YOOOOO!" They both yelled.

"See if you can get one in my mouth!" Tommy handed Tubbo the bag and pointed at his own mouth exaggeratedly. Tubbo threw and missed on purpose, hitting his eye.

"AAAAAAAUGH!" Tommy yelled, cupping his eye, being overdramatic. "CHRIST TUBBO THAT HURTS!"

The both of them spent hours maybe laughing and joking and throwing Sour Patch Kids at each other.

"Have you found him yet?" The god asked the man below him.

"No, my god. But I-" He was cut off by XD.

"Goddammit, Dream. You can't get anything right, can you?" XD sighed. "You have one last chance to bring him to me before I hang you by your strings."

"I- I can get him next time, my god. I just- just need a little longer this time. He seems to have... company."

"Fine. You get a month. If you don't..." The god had a thick, green string appear from thin air, in the shape of a noose.

"I will get him, my god."

Meanwhile Tommy was asleep, knowing not about the power sprouting within him.
