"Who's there!" I yell, not expecting an answer to arise. I then start to make my way slowly into the forest finding my way to a clearing. As I turn to make my way out of the forest, I hear a sickening snap. I swiftly turn around only to trip and fall and be met with the icy blue eyes of a large black wolf. I start to back up to get away from the animal when my back meets a tree and the wolf then makes its way to me, sniffing my hair. I then turn my head expecting to be met with a painful death, only to be proven wrong when I look back to find the wolf gone. "What the hell was that?" I released the breath I didn't know I was holding. "What's next, is that tall creature-man- thing going to show up and give me a hug?" I then make my way back to my car; one thought is going on in my mind What the hell is going on in the town of Ashten?

As I made my way to my car, I surveyed my surroundings very carefully keeping tabs on what happened at what time. I slowly started my car when I realized that it had started snowing, "I hope I can find them soon, winters coming and it looks bad," I stated in a worried tone. I make my way onto the road and the snow starts to get heavier making it hard to see through. "Shit, I can't see a single thing," I say as I see a faint figure standing in the middle of the road, "What?" I state starting to slow the car to a crawl. My car stops six feet from the figure, seeing no movement from figure, I slowly open my window to yell at the figure and see if they need help. I take my eyes off the figure for a minute to find my window button; when I turned to face forward, I see that the figure is missing from its position in the road. "What the hell?!" I exclaimed in shock and worry, looking around to see where they could have gone, soon I looked forward to seeing that the road started to gain a foggy curtain. "I should probably make my way to the nearby campsite for the night." I stated noting the height of the sun in the sky, as my car gave a stiff lurch forward to my destination.

I quickly arrived at my destination, and soon realized that the campsite has a cryptic aura around it. I park my old car in an empty spot and get out of my car trying to find a good spot to put my tent. After realizing there would never be a spot clean of glass and rocks, I decided to sleep in my car for the night. I survey my surroundings further, only realizing the feeling of being watched; I turn around to the feeling of being gone instantly. I opened my mouth to yell, when I noticed there was a tall, lanky figure staring at me from afar. "Hey! I don't know what you think you're doing, but you should go away!" I quickly got back into my car and locked the doors and windows. I soon fall asleep after warming up and snatching the blanket that I keep in my car, I start to doze off to the music lightly playing in the background, welcoming sleep like an old friend.

I wake up to my window shattering, and my head being bashed against the steering wheel. In my daze I realized someone's hand tangled in the hair on the back of my head and dragging me out of my car through the window. I see the men from my dream and start fighting back, I reach into my pocket for my pocketknife. As soon as I have my hand on the handle, I quickly flick the blade out and start swinging behind me, only to punch my holder in the face, and knock the mask from his face. When I do this, they let me go and I catch sight of the mask.

It wasthe dirty white Halloween mask, I quickly spun my head, almost popping my neckI see my childhood friend, Ryan. "Ryan?" I say with a concerned laced voice. Helooks at me with realization to his mask lying on the ground cracked at theforehead. With anger he bent down and swiped his mask from the ground, tracingthe crack slowly with his thumb.
