Chapter 12

" La la la la la." I sing as we walk through the town. It was weird here. Like, almost abandoned. But that didn't stop my good mood! WE WERE GOING ON OUR FIRST ASSIGNMENT!!!! IM SO FUCKING EXCITED!!!
I started to skip down the street when I heard a definite shriek. "What the fuck was th- oh" I squeaked a body went flying past us.
Cynthia and I started running towards the person to help when we saw something that was out of place. White stars started to show up on soon to be black skin. Where have I seen this before? I wondered. It seemed to be on the tip of my tongue. GAD ALMIGHTY WHAT WAS IT?! This is so frustrating. When I turned back to the man. There was nothing left. I stood there shocked until Cynthia shouted and pushed me out of the way.
I looked up and saw what I was least expecting. "An Akuma..." I breathed out. Cynthia stated at me shocked. "YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS?!?! WHY DIDNT YOU SAY ANYTHING BEFORE?!" She screamed at me, grabbing my hand and running.
We weaves throughout streets as I explained. "That thing is off another anime *huff* I watch." I said as we ran. " The anime is.. D.gray Man. Boss anime. Really cute guys. But awful monsters. Usually *huff* only exorcists can kill them with their *huff* innocence."
I was slowly running out of stamina and didn't know how much longer I could run. We took a sharp corner and ran into an alley. Unfortunatly, with our luck, it was a dead-end. "Damn. " I mumbled under my breath. I turned around and was about to order Cynthia into weapon form when we saw a flash of red and white.
"You girls all right back there?" The red-head said as he turned around. HOLY MOTHERFLIPPING PANCAKES JESUS!!
" Yea I get that a lot." He smirked. "Crap, I said that out loud?" I asked. Blushing like a mad-woman. He smirked again. "You know, you're really cute when you-" "LAVI!" His white haired friend, whom I assume is allen, yelled at him. " Get these woman to safety.before they get hurt." He Saluted and went to grab us.
"Wait. we can help!" He just laughed and shook his as he tried to grab me but I maneuvered out if his reach. "Come on Cynthia, let's show them what we can do." I said as I snaked at her. She just smirked back. "CYNTHIA! WEAPON FORM!" I felt like screaming it to show that we knew something they didn't. The Bookman looked bewildered and stepped back to watch.
Cynthia jumped in the air and tuned into two swords, very big, like machete, swords. I grabbed them and dashed to help Allen.
I jumped up on the side of the building, flipped over on my side, and went to do a head cut on the monster. At the last second, it moved and dodged my attack. But that didn't stop me.
I landed on the ground softly and quickly jumped back in the air. as I did so, it shot some sort of bullets but I dodged them flawlessly. Honestly, I have no clue where I got these skills. At home, I was so clumsy I would trip myself over my own feet.
I raised one sword into the air and sliced. I missed but I anticipated this. I twisted around and sliced up, cutting right through the Akuma. I landed On the ground and it exploded.
I turned around to see Allen and Lavi looking really stunned. "Ha ha ha. What you think now. Can I handle myself?" I asked, sauntering up to Lavi. he just stuttered out a yes. Cynthia turned back into human and threw her arm around me. "How about we go get that drink now?" She winked at him. They both just nodded and we went to walk towards the pub.

What was kid so worried about? He took off running as soon as he heard about the mission Savannah and Cynthia were going on. They couldn't be in danger could they? No, they can handle themselves. But still, I'm worried.
I looked at Maka and we both took off running after him. Once we got to Lord Deaths room, Kid was pacing around. He looked pretty upset. When we were about to ask what was wrong. I heard a scream from the mirror behind Lord Death. It was Cynthia's scream.
I ran over and shoved Lord Death out of the way, apologizing as I did so.
When I looked at the mirror, Savannah was pushed in the ground by Cynthia and was staring blankly at something we couldn't see, until she said something. A word I have never heard before. " An Akuma." I heard Maka gasp and run next to me. I just watched as they ran. Away from the monster. They were talking about something I couldn't here but knew it was about the "Akuma" as Savannah called it.
They suddenly turned a corner and were trapped. I held my breath as they turned around and got ready to fight. Just as she was about to tell Cynthia to transform, something jumped in front of them, saving them from getting hit by the bullets.
It turned out to be two boys. One red head and a white haired boy with a weird eye. The red one turned around and started to flirt with Savannah. I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth. He was interrupted by the white haired boy and tried to grab Savannah. My knuckles turned white as she backed away and told him she could protect herself.
I hadn't noticed but Kid, Black*Star, Tsubacki, Liz and Patty had gathered around the mirror as well. All with worried expressions on their faces. Kid the most worried out all of them. This confused me. Why is he so worried?
Savannah had just defeated the thing and it exploded. Yet, it didn't turn Into a Kishin egg. In fact it didn't turn into anything. All you heard was a scream as it exploded. Then the scream went black as she turned and smiled towards the boys.
"What was that?" Tsubaki asked after a few moments of silence.
"I know what it is. But what surprised me was that someone requested for one of us to get rid of them. There are others properly trained for this kind of work. Not us, we kill Kishin souls. Not those." Maka said.
"Well what was it?" Liz asked. "And why wasn't there a soul left over?" Black*star asked also.
....................................." it was something called an Akuma and they work for someone called the Millenium Earl."

HEY GUYS! Sorry for not updating on other stories but this was the easiest one for me at the moment and I got caught up in a CreepyPasta fanfic *scratches head nervously* please don't get mad at me!!
