You Can't Change Fate

Chapter One

A small giggle escaped her lips. Her hands flew up covering her mouth catching herself in the act.

"I think your cute when you giggle." he removed her hands gently, away from her tan face feeling the familiar scorching pain everytime they touched, and tucked a piece of her brindle hair behind her ear then stared at her with his intense golden eyes right into the depths of her pure black orbs. "Oscuro, I-"

"No. Stop." Oscuro got up and wiped grass off her thigh length black skirt. "This was a mistake. They will know."

He immediately stood up and took Oscuros smooth tan hands in his, not caring about the scorching pain that hit him every time he touched her "I dont care about that anymore, all I want is for us to be together."

She turned away from him. Her back now facing him, her brindle hair blowing in the wind as she gazed down the field. "A dark and a light may never bind, but if so the consequences will be aligned. The light will die, a painless death, while the dark suffers an eternally painful death. The two sides must never combined, or the consequences will be aligned." a faint smile played on her lips followed by a single tear as she looked down the field, dazed, as if replaying a distant memory."I don't care about that. I just want to be here with you, this very moment, here in neutral territory, where we can be normal and talk about our day."

"Why would I talk about my day?" let me leave, thats what she meant.

"Try it. I'll start. How was your day Oscuro?" Stay with me, here. Don't leave.

"It was Ok I guess." I can't. Thats what she meant. She can't. She wouldn't.

He turned her around to face him. "Please."

"I-" she was cut off by lightning as bright and as dangerous as the sun striking the ground right in between her and the boy, whose name she never got to know.

The bright skies turned dark as the smokey clouds overlapped the sun, completely blocking out the rays of the sun from reaching the land.

The wind so strong that it ripped the tree they used for shade right out of earths grasp.

Thunder roared through the air shaking the ground itself breaking the earth's crust to reveal the depths of hell.

"He knows. He knows! He knows!!" Thats all Oscuro could process right now that the one person that she has been hiding this from, the one person she feared, the one person that could destroy her and the man she loves for this, the one person that wouldn't hesitate a second to either knows, their biggest secret. A secret that could kill them.

She looked towards the guy she loves with wide terrified eyes, her hair whipping on the wind. "Goodbye." it was barley a whisper but he had heard, and he watched as she turned and fled out of neutral territory back to where she belonged which was dark. He instantly reacted and chased right after her but stopped when the flames of hell shot out of the cracks in the earth where they had been hiding, blocking his path in a completely straight and tall line of fire, like a border he could not cross. The rain pelted the ground like bullets, but the line of fire did not die down, it never would. Defeated, he turned and started to walk back to where he belonged. Which was light.

Those words were spoken echoing out into the air as if it was meant for Oscuro and her lover, and they both knew very well, that it was.

That was the first chapter of this book, yes yes I know I know, it's amazing, but it'll get better, hopefully.
