The boys, and Mikaela, don't know how old she actually is as she looks visibly young. Mikaela however, is a shape-shifter and if she remains in one form for too long, she'll start forgetting her original form. Who knows if this is what she actually looks like. For now, they've worked out that she's around 13 to 14 years old. She's a lab experiment.
