[Flame Contaminated City – Fuyuki / Part 2]

{3rd Person POV}

Victory may have come to the Chaldeans, but that hardly meant they are safe. And when a rain of explosive arrows began to bombard them, relief quickly turned into panic...

To their luck, Mash was ever vigilant when the attack began, and she put herself in between the rain of arrows and her companions just in time as everything descended into chaos once more

Her shield held very strong against the barrage of explosives, behind her Olga held onto Rex as hard as she could, as if her very life depended on it.

???: ''Well, well. Still alive huh?...''

Atop one of the still standing buildings, a single man stood with a bow in one hand and a blade in the other. His eyes surveyed the destruction his 'arrows' had caused and was more than a little annoyed to find he didn't finish off his targets. Back with the Chaldeans, Rex let go of Olga once he located the archer servant.

Rex: ''(Archer! That fucker could at least give us some warning before he decides to blow his load all over our defenceless backsides!)''

Feeling a rising fury inside himself the master dashed past his servant to reach the enemy... The protests of the two people behind him had fell to deaf ears, as he was far too busy trying to reach for higher ground to pay attention to anything else.
