I woke up this morning so late I was literally jumping out of bed. Managing to get up with my tired eyes and fixing my little brother's breakfast quickly."Shiro, make sure to grab your school bag this time! You forgot the other day!" I yelled, still half asleep.
I was packing our food into containers. "I got it, Sis," Shiro reassured me, waiting at the front door. Hurriedly taking our breakfast and my bag near the door, "you can eat on the way there, let's go!" rushing him out of the house, almost out of breath. The day just started, and I'm already tired. Locking up the house, we took off to the same train station we always did.
(On the train )
I was doing my homework as Shiro was eating his food "Sis when is mom coming home?" Shiro asked as he continued eating "I'm not sure I'll call her and see ok?" I said as I looked at him.
Shiro nods and resumes eating his food. I stand up and put Shiro's container in his bag as the train stops. "we're running late so I'm only doing this once so get on " I said as I bent down. And let him jump on my back as I start running out of the train station toward Shiro school house.
When we got to the school I bent down " Be...Good!" I said out of breath. "yeah yeah I know to be good and behave and be respectful to my teacher save your breath for when you have to run " Shiro said, as he slid off my back.
I nod to him and kiss his forehead then run off toward my school. I arrive out of breath.
As I make my way through the halls I can already feel my body getting increasingly tired. Usually, I could understand this on a Monday but it's Wednesday I wasn't kidding that kid is not getting a back ride like that ever again. I made my way to my homeroom and sat at my desk, laying my head flat on my desk and letting out a big sigh.
From the corner of my eye, I see my friend Akako walk over and rub my head " why are you so hot, and...... is that sweat?" Akako asked looking at her hand confused and cleaner hand with a napkin, then putting some hand sanitizer on her hands
"yes it's sweat if you say anything about it I'll get up and hug you," I said tiredly from all the running I did "umm no thanks but lucky for you I have an extra shirt!" Akako throws a shirt at me and sits on her desk "thanks I'm going to change, I feel gross!" I said and walked out of the homeroom holding the shirt as Akako followed me to the girl's bathroom.
I went into the stall and took off my blazer and shirt "so what's up?" I asked her and put on the fresh clean shirt and my blazer on" oh nothing much, I came to see what high school you decided to go to?" Akako said and sat on the bathroom counter and crossed her arms.
"Um well I've given it a lot of thought and I think I want to go to the U.A. " I said and walked out of the stall and looked in the mirror fixing my hair then Akako wrapped her arm around me and lay on my shoulder "But that far away from my school I picked out!!" Akako whined. I quickly pushed her arm off and fixed my uniform" I know but it could help me control my quirk you know and maybe save people too.." I said putting my dirty shirt in my bag "yeah okay I saw this coming" Akako said sadly as the school rang I grabbed her arm " come on we're going to be late!" I said and dragged her to class.
After School

I and Shiro were walking from the train station on our way home "so how was school?" I asked him and grabbed his hand to hold as we walked past a group of people "It was good! Look what I made!!!" Shiro said excitedly and held up a drawing. I look at it "oh is it a duck?" I asked him while still looking at the picture Shiro then pouts and shakes his head " no it's a dog!" he said and gave the paper to me " but it's a bright yellow?" I said, confused. Shiro just smiled and walked ahead of me "a bright and yellow dog!" Shiro said but then, watching a mother and kid walk across a street, Shiro stopped smiling and looked down, upset. "What's wrong?" I asked worriedly and turned him towards me "When are we going to see mom again?" Shiro said almost in tears and looked up at me "Oh she said she would be back in a month....which isn't too long so don't worry too much okay? We can have fun right?" I said as I picked him up Shiro smiled and nodded "yes now let's go" Shiro yelled as I started running home.
