"Wow doktora dela Torre blooming ka ngayon ah!" nurse Jen joked. My eyes rolled at her joke, alam ko na ang kasunod ng pambobola niya. "Bakit maaga ka ngayon?"
"Mom keeps bugging me with marraige. She keeps setting me up with those boys she met! I need to focus on my career ano!"
"Hoy Doktora dela Torre! Youre always on your work! Mag enjoy ka naman jan, might try to party or date! Ampopogi nang ni rereto nang mommy mo sayo, why not givng it a shot? Youre not getting younger, doc." pangangatwiran nya. I rolled my eyes at her remarks.
I sighed as soon as i put my bag at my table.
"It is because of that engineer i saw you with last week? hmm?" she teased.
"What are you selling this time?!" i asked,changing our topic.
"Nako! I badly needed money talaga doc. Skin care to doc-"
"Tss, baka magka allergy ako jan." tanggi ko kaagad.
"Hoy alam ko naman na maarte ka kaya mamahalin tong ibenebenta ko sayo. Ito yung mga ginagamit mo ano. " she said while placing every single of La Prairie products.
"Oh ito foam cleanser! 5,990 pesos lang to kaya ibibigay ko sayo nang 6,100 pesos!" She added.
" Gago ka ang mahal nang benta mo!" reklamo ko sa kanya.
"Wag kana magreklamo mayaman ka naman eh!" hindi man lang ako pina tanggi. Niligpit na niya ang binebenta at nilagay sa ilalim ng lamesa.
Kung di ko pa kaibigan to matagal ko na tong pinatay eh! Kung makataas nang presyo parang di magkaibigan eh. Nang-uubos nang pera!
"Sige na umalis ka na, just check your bank account later pagtapos nang shift mo. Isusumbong kita kay mommy eh!" pagtataboy ko sa kanya.
"Excuse me ang aga pa noh!" depensa nya sbay bumelat sakin.
"Tss."
"Bye doc sana magjowa kana po malapit kana lumagpas sa kalendaryo. Kung ayaw mo sa mga chupapis na yon akin nalang please." she teased me again and closed the door. Ang aga-aga bine-bwesit na ako nang babaeng yon.
I massaged my temple for a minute and checked my schedule for today. Medyo maaga nga ako ngayon, I still have an hour before my shift. Usually I would be here thirty minutes before my shift ngayon napaaga yata. I was taken from my thoughts when my phone rang.
Benj is calling~
I cleared my throat before accepting his call.
"Why?" I asked.
"Hi Belle good morning. Did you receive the flowers this morning?"
"Uh yes, I forgot to thank you. Im sorry! I didn't mean to. I-I was rushing for work that's why I forgot." I nervously explained and feeling guilty.
I was waiting for him to get mad but he chuckled.
"Alright alright, I understand doc."he stated.
"Aren't you mad?" I asked in a low voice, I was really guilty.
"Why would I get mad silly. By the way, I was about to ask if you're free tonight? "
" I'm free, why?" I checked my schedule kanina at wala naman akong gagawin.
"Dinner tayo, ano G kaba?"
Since may kasalanan ako sa kanya ito nalang ibabayad ko. Sobrang na guilty talaga ako eh.
"Sure."
"Okay , I'll pick you up at 7:30?"
"Okay Engr."
"Bye doc." he bid his goodbye and I end his call.
I let out a deep sigh and turned my laptop on, preparing for work. I wore my labcoat and do some retouch. Pagkatapos ay sumandal ako saking upuan. While waiting for the patients to come, I decided to transfer some money to Jen's account baka kasi makalimutan ko. Sakto naman pagkasend ko nang pera ay syang pagdating ng unang pasyente.
I lifted my eyes and smiled at a man carrying a five year old boy. Our eyes meet, gosh this man is so handsome! He was rooted on his track, para syang nakakita nang multo. Shock was very evident in his face. He is so pogi even just wearing a white tshirt and a trouser. He is so tall and he would pass as a model.
"Hi again Doc pretty!" Liam beamed kaya nabaling ang tingin ko sa kanya.
"Hi din handsome liam! You're looking good today."
"Ikaw din po you've become more pretty!" I chuckled, nambola panga ang bata.
Ibinaling ko muli ang aking attention sa lalaking nasa aking harapan. He is still standing kaya I offered him the seat in front of me. Nakatitig parin siya sa akin, I don't know whats with this guy but why is he just staring at me? May muta ba ako? I smiled at him to get him back to his senses. Naloka ata sa ganda ko beh. I was about to speak when-
