Part 6

Letting go of lesso and stepping back looking at the floor, " what's wrong?"
Lesso said looking down at me.
"Rafal who is he?" I looked back up at her she had anger in her eyes, "no one that you should worry about!" Rolling her eyes and sitting on her chair at her desk.
"Now you should get over to dovey as you will be working with her for the rest of the week" i nodded and walked to the door, quite upset. How could lesso treat me like that then not tell me about everything going on, but yet sophie knows everything.
I stormed down the halls of the nevers and walked onto the bridge i didn't realise how late it was and the sky was dark, i just walked to the edge and sat along the wall looking down seeing the waves hit harsh against the rocks.

I had awoken in a soft bed, looking around i noticed dovey talking to lesso in the corner of the room, i sat up wich lesso had seen and walked over to me.
"What was you thinking?!" Raising her voice at me, "lesso calm down please" dovey said trying to calm lesso down, i just looked at the two women very confused.
"I'm sorry what happend?" I questioned tilting my head at them, " you don't remember?" Dovey said holding onto the edge of the bed, "no what happend?!" Raising my voice a little getting annoyed why no one has told me what happend yet.
"Y/n you fell into the water below the bridge" lesso spoke sitting on the bed by my side, i was shocked i don't remember that happening.

"No i didn't" quite shocked from that response i held out to lesso's hands, "i would know surely" looking at dovey then to lesso, "but you don't" lesso mumbled.
"How did i get here then surly someone would of had to seen me fall for me to have been saved" lesso turned to look at me " i saw you princess, i was looking out of the window and noticed you sitting there. You must have leaned over to much and you tumbled down" letting go of my hands and standing up. "Why don't i remember and why don't i feel in pain??" Looking at dovey, she then spoke "lesso brought you in here and i healed you but it must have also made you forgotten what happend" I just sat there frozen looking to the floor, "thank you" i finally spoke.
"She should get some rest" lesso said standing next to dovey, dovey nodded her head and left the room. "Ill be checking on you later" lesso said nodding her head and waled out behind dovey. So that's it I'm supposed to stay in bed all day, no fun I'm ament to be helping dovey out.

It had been a week since then and i have been helping dovey all week, with classes and talking about the evers ball, that i cant wait for. I haven't seen much of lesso as i haven't had time to go to the nevers side but i see her at breakfast and dinner just don't talk really as she's on the other side of the hall, i mean sometimes i can feel her watching me.
"Y/n are you ready for today?" Dovey said placing her hand on my shoulder pulling me out of my trance, i shock my head "what's today again?" Giggling but she was amused "The finger glow" she huffed, i just smiled at dovey "yep i remember now, do i get mine today as well?" Dovey nodded her head then headed to the hall with that i followed behind her.
We entered into the hall where all students were gathered and talking about there finger glow, dovey got to the platform then standing next to lesso, "y/n you will be first to show the students that its all okay" i nodded and stood by the platform i could see lesso looking at me but i didn't dear look at her, Not after the doom room incident and then the accident that i don't remember happening.
I looked around the hall i couldn't see any site of sophie but i did spot aggie talking to tedros, i then see aggie trip and fall but she falls into his arms. It was sweet till lesso shouted "SHUT IT!!!" it made me jump and most students, everyone took there seats as then dovey and lesso spoke about the finger glow, "line up" dovey said, everyone rushed an lined up in 2 separate lines one for good and one for evil, "y/n will go first to show you" i stepped up and dovey made me stand between her and lesso. "Evers feel no pain" dovey quoted then lesso "nevers" she giggled "its going to hurt"
I looked at both women wondering what would happen if i would feel the pain or not . I held my hand out pointing my finger then dovey lifted the key and stabbed it into my finger, i flinched as i felt some pain at the tip of my finger but it soon stoped as my finger glew yellow, I smiled at dovey then turned to walk away but someone tapped me with their cane i look at lesso "stay there" she spok so cold to me so i stepped back watching other people get there glow till sophie came bursting into the hall with a whole new look, she looked grown up for once i wanted to giggle as she walked down the hall like she was the boss.
" What's this all about" lesso said looking at sophie up and down, "this, you like it?" Sophie giggled being sarcastic "now if you wouldn't mind" lifting her hand infront of lesso, sje raised an eyebrow at sophie then stuck the key into her finger "thank you" sophie turned around and walked out of the hall. We all shook what just happend off and continued with the other students, i felt pain in my finger. I looked down at my hand and realised the tip of my finger was now red with a black glow, i panicked and hid it in the pleats of my dress.
I notice lesso glaring down at me, i looked away biting my bottom lip trying to hide the pain my finger was in.

Both deans had finished with the finger glow ceremony, all students had left the hall. Lesso turned to me grabbed mt wrist "i'm going to borrow y/n for today dovey" lesso siad and walking off dragging me behind.
We got to her office she looked the doors behind me, "show me" she said looking down at me, "show you what?" I said biting my tongue "i'm not stupid princess" walking closer to me i stepped back hitting a wall my checks started to warm up as lesso is inches away, "show me!" Raising her voice.
I rolled my eyes the pulled my hand out showing my finger glow, she looked shocked and stumbled back a bit.
"Lesso what does it mean?" Lesso looked at me she had a tear in her eyes, she then lifted her hand up and at first it lit yellow then all of a sudden it turned red with a black glow, i gasped.
"Y/n does it hurt when it turned red?" I nodded and stepped closer to lesso "does it hurt you lesso?" She looked away wiping a tear from her face "yes" she said softly. I was quite shocked that lesso felt pain like that i didn't really expect it.
I sat lesso on the sofa and we started talking about it, "the library it has books that could tell us more about this" lesso said holding my hand. "We could head there tomorrow" i said she nodded her head, i sat closer to her and leant my head on her shoulder, lesso then rested her head onto mine and before i new it i had fell asleep.
