But first, I give you a dreaded Authors note:
Hello again,
So I've decided to re-upload this book after having had it down for a year. I'm slowly going to read over and upload most of the imagines, if not all.
I have a feeling quite a few will need editing but it's work I'm willing to put in. It's great fun rereading my old work and even more fun reading all of your comments. How are you all so funny??
Anyway, I wanted to thank you for all of the support you've all shown me over the years. Two million reads is unfathomable and I'm so so appreciative to everyone who's taken the time out of their day to read and support the book! It actually makes me emotional to think about so truly, thank you!
And now enjoy!

My best friend Blaise Zabini has asked me to go to the Yule Ball with him. I agreed due to the fact that we're both stuck in the same situation: the people we want to go with, are already going with someone else.
Blaise and I are the quiet-type friends. Usually we both keep to ourselves. So we sit together in class, sit together on the train, occasionally walk around with Draco and his 'gang' as Blaise insists we do. Sometimes we sit in complete and comfortable silence, others we talk about whatever comes to our minds, and talk to each other judgment free. It's a mix and that's the way we both like it. People tease us for acting couple-like, but we don't listen to them, we don't even give them a response.
I stare longingly at my appearance in the mirror, silently hoping that the one person who I want to notice me, does. Hearing a scuffle of feet behind me I turn around to see Pansy wearing a frilly pink dress and pink based makeup to match.
I've never been the jealous type, especially not of Pansy Parkinson. However there's is one thing I want that she's got Or one person rather. And she doesn't even have him. It's only for tonight.
That person is Draco.
He doesn't appear to like Pansy much, but she's always hanging off of his arm, flirting at every chance she has. He doesn't like her personality but he loves her attention. He always craves attention.
People would be surprised if they heard about my crush on Draco. He's a prat, of course he is, but there are many times where it's just him and I alone and he's completely different. I've been told before that I unintentionally give off this vibe that assures people they don't have to pretend around me. I've always been comfortable to be myself, and when people see that I guess they decide that they'd rather follow suit, than put on a personality I don't care for no matter what they choose to stuff it with. People are happier when they're themselves, and they don't realise it until they choose to do that.
Draco seems to have picked up on that about me. When we're together he sometimes even makes jokes, not about or against anyone, he just comes up with them in attempt to make me smile. Which he succeeds in doing. It was stupid of me to think he'd ask me to the ball. Why would he do that? But then again, why wouldn't he?
We've been getting closer everyday. The last time we spoke he brushed his fingers across my cheek like we got stuck in some romantic novel. So what compelled him to ask the bush-baby-arm-clinger who'll laugh at anything that comes from his mouth... over me? I'll never be sure of the answer to that.
