We made our way to the exit, determined to pull this off... whatever nonsense we had planned. I mean, there isn't even a plan. What we decided to do was find them, approach them in a friendly and polite manner, introduce ourselves, chat a little, ask them for a few drinks and dance, and maybe spend the night together if luck was on our side.

That's all there is to it. Simple, right?

But why is my heart racing so hard as we get closer to the exit?

Oh, I see why.

Because, even if I deny it deep down, I know I'm overwhelmed by those cat-like eyes that kept looking at me earlier. Though I'm not actually afraid in a bad way. More accurately, I'm both nervous and excited to learn what she has to offer if we're alone in the same room. Her eyes speak volumes, and I'm completely into with her. I just don't have the guts to say hello first.

I tried not to look back whenever I felt someone was watching me, but curiosity kills, so my head would always turn in her direction, and without fail, I would catch her eyes glancing away almost immediately. I want to convince myself that she finds me attractive in the same way that I find her stunningly beautiful. But I'm not going to get my hopes up. Because in the end, I'll just be disappointed.

The bouncers open the door when they see us approaching the exit. As we step outside, the cold breeze hits our skin and gently blows our hair. A few people were also standing on the sidewalk and took a quick glance to see who was leaving.

We are not leaving ladies and gentlemen. We've come to look for two beautiful specimens.. which we haven't found yet.

"Where are they?" Freen wonders, scratching her chin and moving her gaze from left to right.

I was doing the same thing, even going back into the club to make sure they weren't already at their table. So far, the only people in there are the two women flirting, indicating they haven't returned yet.

I returned to Freen with my brow furrowed.

"Are you certain they went this way?"

"I'm sure, lisa. I've been watching that woman for hours I can even tell the size of her bra. How much more where they went."

My face scrunched up in response to her remarks, and laughter bubbled up inside of me. To be completely honest, I don't know how to react to that. I like Freen when she's drunk because she's honest with her thoughts. But it also makes me feel embarrassed, especially when it comes to topics like this.

"You pervert, motherfucker."

All I could say as Freen smirked at me.

We keep looking around, going to the restrooms and traversing the road to check out the 24-hour convenience store just across the street. So far, the only people we've encountered are a drunk guy puking on his friend's boots and a woman making out with a guy inside his car. Those interactions were intriguing, but we weren't in the mood to watch them right now.

"I guess they left?" I began to wonder as we returned to the club's exit.

I'm pretty sure they've taken off at this point. Where else would they go besides the restroom and the convenience store?

However, Freen will not be satisfied until we find them. She drags me down one of the blocks that lead us to the other street, and I just let her drag me along because, to be honest, I don't have the strength to assert. I'm not sure why she believes they're here, but I followed her anyway.
