When Time Travel Goes Wrong

Chapter 2: The Creation

     When I got home there was a plate of food waiting for me on the table. It had my favorite things in it strawberries with chocolate sauce, glazed doughnuts, and to top it all off there was an Oreo milkshake in a 12 inch cup.

"Why is this here" I thought to myself.

"It's for you" said my mom like if she had read my mind.

"But why" I asked.

"I was giving out Oreos, doughnuts, and chocolate covered strawberries in the concert last night, there were a few leftovers and I wasn't going to eat them! No more fat for me! So I'm giving them to you"

"Thanks mom"

     After I ate the plate of delicious food I went straight to my room to start on the time travel machine. I decided it was going to be solar powered because if I travel were there isn't electricity, let’s just say you'll see me in the ancient museum of history. Then I set up a portable control panel, a suit, and a redo button. The control panel will let me punch in where I want to go, when and at what time, The suit will be in charge of teleporting me back home only (time traveling will be done by the teleporter), The redo button is useful when I mess up really bad and resets everything back the way it was and it will take me to 3:30 today at the exact time I went to talk to Mr. Rodrick.

     Ok done with the basic stuff now I have to start the hard things so I will start off with making at least 6 solar panels that are 2 by 3 feet, I need to make so many because this machine takes up a lot of energy. When I finished the solar panels I put them on the roof and connected them to the main power source (an electric car's motor). Then I set up what I call the "teleporter", this will be the main time travel machine because it will take me to wherever I want to go and at any time.

     When I had set everything up I was ready to test it out. I turned on the solar panels and automatically it turned on this blue glassy material appeared in the middle of the teleporter. It works! To make sure of my success I took my dog and strapped my watch to his leg then it was the moment of truth I set the panel to 5 minutes before current time (6:37). I threw my dog in and waited, suddenly I heard a noise and my dog popped right back! I looked at the watch.

"The first time travel in history" I said slowly.

"Rough rough" barked my dog.
