Chapter 3

The next day started to soon. I woke up did my routine of get dressed, brush hair, braid hair, and Do mackup. When went down to eat breakfast my mom and dad were siting their starring at me and they said "Honey what did you see in the video?"
I simply replied, "Well I saw you guys then me with a cloud in my hand then it changed to a sun then it started to turn into lighting in my hands."
"Oh god. She has seen to soon."
"What! Seen what to soon?!?"
"Honey you have powers."
"Powers???"
"Yes, to be exact you have the power to behold the weather."
"Wait, what I did in the video I can actually do in real life."
"Yes, and more. You can't tell anyone, well until you actually learn to use it."
"Wait, that means other people have powers to!" I thought to myself Gia has powers and so do the Pythons, oh no!

It was Sunday morning I got up did my daily routine then I went out to water the plants when all of a sudden my parents directed me into my dad workshop and dad said "Are you ready?"
"Ready for wha-" I could not finish my dad had already hit me with that same ray again. Another vision started, it was of my parents explaining how to use my powers for me. As I learned how to use my powers wisely I woke up. Both parents sitting there and they said "So, are you excited to start using your powers?"
"Um, I guess. The videos were very descriptive."
I stood up and I put my hands out like the video instructed and right before my eyes a cloud popped into my hands. I waited a little while so eager to try a sun, but I was also worried it would burn me. I tried it and my parents said, "Clarity I think you should keep practiceing in your room till you get the Lightning part down because that is the hardest one to get the hang of. Well, anyway you are doing great by next week you should have your power mastered!"
"That fast! Well, I guess I am a quick learner and will I be able to tell anyone now."
"Yeah, but it is against the rules to use your powers at school."

Monday came and I was excited to tell someone about my power. Then I realized that I don't have any friends, yet. The bell rang and I headed off to class with Mr. Jackson, my teacher. I went into the class room and for the first time I realized that this class was specifically for power training. Everyone had to go up and show everyone their power. Gia was first and she said "Hi as you all know I am Gia, but you might not know that my power is telekinesis." After she was done Justin went up and said "Hi I am Justin and my power is nature and if you make fun of it you will find a nice new home inside of a giant Venus fly trap." Next was me, so I went up and said,"Hi my name is Clarity and my power is weather." A few other people went then a girl came up and said, "Hi my name is Hannah and I can teleport. If you hold my hand I can make both of us teleport at the same time." After she sat next to me and she said, "So, Clarity want to sit with me at lunch?"
"Sure." I replied softly. Then I thought, maybe I do have a friend.
