I awoke to the sound of blood curtailing screams, it was the forth time this week. I've been here nearly fourteen years and still not used to it, it was quite common to hear blood curtailing screams along with the roars of surgical items.
I had been born here, used for experiments from the very beginning scars old and new linger never fading. The white coats used me for experiments more than any other of the surrounding inmates, I was explained to at a young age I was a whole different species......and didn't come from this planet. I sometimes hoped I could be forgotten in time like an old broken watch, but in this place hopes and dreams are shattered easier than glass.
My thoughts were interrupted by another wavering scream, I arose and walked over to the door of my cell. Its a large metal door with a window at the top with bars, most inmates can easily see out of but me not even raining at 4'11' had to grasp onto the bars forcing myself to the window. What I saw wasn't an unusual sight for me, a white coat who appeared to have blood covering every square inch of his body walked down the hall dragging a female inmate down the hall blood coating the hall as he wandered down. Another white coat fallowed she seemed aware of her ghastly actions, as if she was trying her hardest to hold back tears. She stopped alining with my cell giving me a sympathetic look,
"Millen!" a harsh voice broken the silence as she inched forward
I never got these white coats, they knew they were causing premature deaths daily yet their was always one crying.
"SELENE!" a wavering scream broke loose
I recognized that voice anywhere, it was her brother Dexter
It sounded like he could break down the door at any moment the quiet gentle giant had turned into a rampaging mess
'Good we have metal doors' I thought to myself.
It wasn't typical for someone to act out like that around here, we all knew our lives would be cut short due to the tampering the white coats do with our bodies. The older person we ever had here was thirty-two but finally reached his demise a few months ago. Here the oldest you're gonna live is twenty-five, but that's if you're lucky.
After spacing out for mere seconds, I came to realize the hall was funny of noise yelling, screaming, crying it all sounded the same to me. A security guard waltzed in and began to scream, in a effort to shut us up, it was a wasted effort though.
Selene was loved by all, she was able to keep us all jolly and happy even at Hell's gates. She told jokes, smiled, laughed and made us as well, she was also had great looks to match her personality. Auburn hair with bright green eyes and fair skin, she was barely 'worked' on but when she was she got the big things. She had undergone a full bone transplant just to see if it was possible, it wasn't and she waddled around on make shift crutches some other inmates were able to muster up.
The hall soon began to quiet down as I returned to my bed, which reminded me that means within the next few days we'll get another inmate. This lab is the main one, but is intertwined with many other labs. Once one inmate dies another more fitting one would be shipped, this lab will only take the best or more unusual to experiment upon.

It was early morning I heard inmates being pried out of their cells, for reasons uncomprehendible by most. The sound of heavy doors swinging, screaming, and mutters of deaths sweet embrace has been my morning bell for as long as I could remember. Quiet normal,
