- You Reap What You Woe -
1x5Saying goodbye isn't always easy. Especially when your father is Lucifer and you know you're a whole dimension apart.
"Dad, I just wanted to say, I'm sorry-"
"Don't apologize, young one." Lucifer says softly and looks at his only daughter. "I love you. I'm sorry I didn't see that you might want to focus on other things than your future in hell." He says.
"You will live for hundreds of years once you come down to rule. There's plenty of time to live a normal life here.. with a job and.." he trails off and looks away. "a family." He shutters.
Vada grins. "Do you really mean it, Dad?"
"Of course, my little demon." Lucifer promises and lightly hugs her.
"Are you sure you have to go early? You don't have to leave for another hour." Vada asks. Lucifer nods.
"I will try to speak telepathically to you more this time. It's been busy down there."
"I understand." Vada promises. She hugs her father back. The two pull away and with that, Lucifer disappears into thin air.
Enid walks over. "Hey, have you seen Wednesday?"
"She called last night. Her mother and her got arrested for digging up Garrett Gates. Nightshade poisoning." Vada explains as Enid gasps.
"Oh my! Is she okay? They didn't force her into orange did they? She's probably broke out in hives!"
"Relax, they're already out of jail. Tyler text me and said he seen her at the courthouse this morning."
"Tyler texts you?" Enid asks grinning. "Sorry, sorry. I know, I know." She says. With that, she goes to her family to say goodbye.

"We need to speak with Weems." Wednesday says, bursting into the dorm later that night.
Enid jumps up and hugs Wednesday. "Oh! I missed you! Are you okay? They didn't make you wear color did they?"
Wednesday goes red and stands completely still, watching Enid with wide eyes. "I'm.. fine.."
"Why do we need to speak with Weems?" Vada asks.
"I have proof of Rowan getting murdered. Come on." Wednesday looks at Enid and blushes, slowly leaning in and pecking her lips before she turns and leaves the room.
Vada grins. "You two are so gross, it's kinda cute." She teases before finally following Wednesday.
The braided girl bursts into Weems' office. "I knew it! We did witness Rowan getting murdered that night."
"Excuse me? Aren't you two supposed to be in bed? I believe curfew was an hour ago." Weems says.
"When Rowan appeared the next morning, it was you." Wednesday says. "My mom told me how you participated in the talent show. You didn't just impersonate Judy Garland, you / became / her."
"You're a shapeshifter?" Vada looks at Weems in confusion. It was something no one knew about the Principal; her species.
Weems scoffs. "That's a fascinating theory." She informs.
"I'm curious to know how Sheriff Galpin will feel when I tell him." Wednesday says.
Weems stands and leans over her desk, becoming face to face with Wednesday and Vada. "You won't tell a soul, girls. It won't matter much if you do. Rowan's father knows what happened and he fully supports my decision not to involve the authorities."
"Why would he agree to that?" Vada asks, looking at the woman.
"Because Rowan was not in his right mind. His telekinetic abilities were driving him mad and he attempted to murder you twice. His tragic death allowed us to rectify the situation without casting the school or Rowan in an unflattering light."
"You and Mayor Walker are the same, aren't you? Burying bodies to cover your dirty secrets." Wednesday glares.
"I did what I needed to do to shield this school from controversy and protect its students from harm." Weems says calmly.
"Tell that to Eugene." Wednesday snaps. Weems' eyes widen slightly as she goes silent. "How are you protecting him?" She asks.
Vada looks at the window. "Guys?"
"I will not stand for this level of disrespect." Weems begins.
"Guys! You need to see this!" Vada calls out loudly. The two look over finally and walk to the window.
Outside, a fire in burning on the grass, words flaming.
' FIRE WILL RAIN '
Weems looks at it. "What on earth?"
Wednesday looks at Vada whom looks back at her softly before the two look back at the fire. "We need to find out whose doing this." She informs
"Definitely." Vada responds.
Wednesday runs off to the dorm quickly.
Vada furrows her brows as she turns and runs after her. "Wens! Wait! Hey what's wrong?"
"I need to talk to Goody."
"Who?" Vada asks in confusion.
"My witch ancestor." Wednesday goes into the room and sets up a circle of candles and such. She holds a black crystal along with her necklace her mother had gotten her, into the air in front of her, muttering and chanting quietly to herself.
"What is she doing?" Enid asks quietly, sitting on her bed as she stares at Wednesday with concerned eyes.
"Summoning her dead ancestor, I think." Vada responds calmly and watched the girl, tilting her head. "Would've been a lot easier if we did this outside and sacrificed a pig."
Enid looks at Vada with wide eyes, frowning before looking at Wednesday again. "Do you think it will work?"
"I have no idea. I've never summoned someone dead without my father." Vada admits and shakes her head. "Then again, I've also never tried it without sacrificing a pig." She points out.
Enid makes a face. "Can we stop talking about the pig?"
"Sorry, Goldie." Vada says and leans back.
A draft comes from under the door when someone walks by, affectively blowing out Wednesday's candles and leaving the girl to sit in the dark. She sighs and stands.
"We need to put a towel under the door or something, it gets seriously cold in here at night, don't you think?" Vada asks.
Enid nods in agreement and lays back on her bed. "Totally. So annoying." She says but anyone can tell she is secretly glad Wednesday hadn't succeeded.
"Oh well, better luck next time." She says.
