Aster Frump spent his childhood being homeschooled by his mother. She may be a bright happy woman, but it took a lot to earn her trust. When Aster's powers developed she knew she had to keep him safely away from humans. Despite their clear differences and Wednesday's denial, Aster and Wednesday are close as can be. So when Wednesday gets expelled once again, Aster gets dragged along to Nevermore "To make sure Wednesday doesn't get into trouble" as his mother and Aunt so kindly put it. Aster had hoped his first experience with school would be fun, he did not expect drama at every turn, a killer on the loose, and a huge crush. This will be a interesting experience.
