Chapter 2: Fly Me Out!!

It's been a couple days since my first vlog and since finding that podcast. Today I decided to hit them up on insta. That was a while ago but they might not be up yet. I released the vlog on Wednesday and today is Friday. I'm watching Netflix right now and waiting for my food I ordered. I get a notification and...it's from Carlos.

"Yo Wsp, I actually didn't think you would hit us up, we didn't even know you would watch the podcast..thanks for hitting us up tho!"

I text back

"Yea, np I actually had been scrolling on tik tok and came past your page and saw that u mentioned me so I wanted to check you guys out"

He replied back like 30 sec later

"Aw shit really that's dope, but I do want you on the podcast to get to know you more as a person and since your empathetic you can maybe tell us more about that..it's all up to you"

I text back

"Yea, fasho I wanna be on the podcast...FLY ME OUT ✈️!!!"

He texted back

"Alright lmao 🤣 can I have your number so we can FaceTime, I feel like this would be easier"

I text him

"Yea it's (xxx) xxx-xxxx"

I get a call from an unknown number a couple minutes later. It must be him..so I don't answer it... jk jk I do.

"Yooo, wsp Mia" he says. "Wsp" I say. He laughs and shakes his head. "You live in NYC right?" He asks and I nod. He nods back "Cool, so I was thinking you could maybe be here by tomorrow or maybe next week..I don't know though..it's all up to you" he says with a laugh. "Well when do y'all plan on doing the..uh...what was it the hunted vlog?" I say and get up to get my food that just arrived cuz food comes first. "Umm sometime like the week after next week but some of my friends are having a Halloween party next Tuesday if you wanna come down and kinda explore Toronto.." he says looking at me through the phone. "Uh..yea..yea I could come next week..maybe like Sunday evening or Monday if I book a ticket right now..but I might make it tomorrow if not then like I said before Sunday night or Monday morning" I say as I set my phone up and open my food. "Ok that sounds good..." it gets quiet and he just looks at me and I look at him and I bust out laughing. "Dude...the fact we just made eye contact through a phone is sending me!" I'm literally crying.

Me and Carlos talked on the phone a little bit to get to know eachother better and he's a really cool dude. I booked a ticket to Toronto and he said he would pick me up at the airport. I would probably arrive Sunday night cuz I booked the ticket for tomorrow sometime close to midnight. I decided I was gonna vlog my trip since it was something to do. I packed my costume and like 20-30 different outfits which filled up my whole suitcase I barely could fit my underwear and shit in there. I ended up putting my shoes, hair, and face stuff like makeup and skin care in one of my mini suitcases so I'm all set and ready to take on Toronto.

"Ok guys so, I'm about to finish packing cuz as you know I'm going to be spending a couple weeks in, drum roll please....TORONTO!!! Yep das right, uh huh, oh yea, uh huh.." I laugh at the camera. "..yep I'm going to Toronto to do some very important business..." I move my eyes from left to right "...guys...I'm gonna be on a podcast with Jumpers Jump..." I put my hands on my face and scream "..aaaahhhh...that's so crazy...but like it happened so fast like...one minute I'm scrolling on tik tok and the next minute I'm buying the next ticket to Canada" I do the 'mind blown' motion "..fucking crazy dude" I hear my phone buzz from on my bed and I get up from my vanity to grab it. It was a notification saying that Jumpers Jump, Carlos Jucio, and Gavin Ruta followed me on Tik Tok and insta. "...well guys...I made some new friends" I laugh and grab the camera and walk into my bathroom. "So I think I'm gonna take a shower then set my alarm for 4:00 a.m because my flight leaves at 5:30 and I wanna get food and stuff....and I gotta call a Uber so I'll see you guys in the morning.
