(that's me in the corner, me in the spotlight losing my religion)

It all started about a week ago. Normal was home alone and was really hungry so he decided to make himself a vegan grilled cheese with a george foreman grill. It didn't leave the same funky line like when he used it to dry his shoes, but when it comes to grilled cheese, he's not too fancy. But when he lifted up the grill, he saw the face of god! He had made a grilled cheesus. "But I'm so hungry" Normal said looking at the sandwich. He's definitely not the most religious guy, he cut the sandwich in half but just kept staring at the Jesus on the other half as he ate. He decided what it would feel like to pray.

"Dear grilled cheesus, first of all you are really delicious. I don't know how this really works but if you could please let me slay as teeny at the upcoming soccer game that would be so awesome, and I think you kinda owe it to me a little after all the Doodler stuff and things with my uncle and dad. It would mean the world to me. And in return I will make sure we honor you in glee club."

To Normal's surprise, he was an absolute icon at the soccer game. Everyone was hyping him um in the crowd and he even was able to successfully do the worm without the mascot head coming off. He looked up to the sky and simply said "thank you grilled cheesus."

That same morning, Margareta was dropping breakfast off for her mom at the library. "What is this?" Desdemona said(that is Margaret's mom's name for those who don't know or forgot).

"It's an egg white wrap on a sprouted wheat tortilla half a grapefruit and a green drink." Margarita replied.

"What happened to my usual breakfast?"

"A coke and two slim Jim's?"

"Yeah breakfast of champions."

"Mom you aren't a kid anymore you have to start taking care of yourself." Margarita sounded destress. All she had left was her mom and she wanted her to be safe.

"I guess with enough hot sauce, this will be all right." Desdemona said placing the food to the side "Hey, don't forget, Friday night dinner is 6:00 instead of 7:00 this week. Raphy is coming over for dinner and he has to work the night shift."

"I can't do this Friday. Uh, sing-along Sound of Music at the El Royale Theater. It's a once-a-year event." Margarita replied

"Last week you had to camp out early so you could be first in line for those Grey's Anatomy DVDs."

"Season six mom!"

"Those Friday night dinners are a ritual in our family- one your dad started."

"I know, but I'm a teenager. Friday nights are kind of important to me. Why are you making me feel guilty about this? I, of all people, know how important the relationship is between you and Carole."

Those dinners are more than important. They're sacred. The whole point of having something sacred is that it takes precedence over anything else you got going on."

"Sing-along Sound of Music is sacred to me."

"What, you think I don't know that? Wasn't I the one who bought you that Maria bonnet when you were six? - The point is- - Enough with the bonnet. If you start giving up stuff like Friday night dinners then you got nothing to hold onto. Okay, let's face it, Margarita - If we don't schedule it, then we don't hang out. If we don't hang out, then our lives just go right by each other. And we don't share very much."

"I'm sorry, but I'm not missing something that I look forward to all year just for another dinner. Maybe we could do it Thursday or something."  Margarita huffed

"I got to tell you, Margareta. I'm real disappointed in you." Desdemona sighed as Margareta walked out of the library and headed to school.

Most of the teens were hanging out in the glee club already just chatting about random things, when Normal walked through the door quite enthusiasticly. "Mis.Hailes ? I have something to say. Something happened to me and I can't really get into it, but it's shaken me to my core."
