(Kate's P.O.V.)
It's the day after the hospital. I came out this morning. It's probably just about midnight. I can't sleep. I don't want to sleep. I'm afraid that if I fall asleep, I'll never wake up. I'm shaking.
"You ok Kate?" He whispers from beside me.
"Yeah I'm fine... Go back to sleep." I whisper back.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"Yeah." I answer.
"Ok. Goodnight." He rolls over and falls asleep again.
I roll to my side and try to sleep. Not that I want to. More that I have to. I'll get in trouble from the guys and Tiff if I don't sleep. I sigh. Suddenly an arm raps around my body and pulls me closer. I hit a hard chest. I know what's going on, he knows I can't sleep so he's trying to find a non obvious way to make me. I snuggle closer to his hard chest and close my eyes.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" I scream before quickly sitting up onto the bed. I cover my face with my palms and I burst out crying.
"Shhhh, Kate it's ok. Just a nightmare. You're ok. I'm right here. I'm right here. Shhhh. It's ok. Calm down." I dig my head into his chest causing him to place his chin on my head and start rubbing my back. "Shhhh."
I stop crying but I let his warm body hold me. I don't want to move from here. No way. I- no. I'm not going to be able to sleep properly anymore.
"Is everything alright?!" Liam asks as he runs into the room.
"Yeah, just a nightmare Li." Louis answers for me.
"I'm still confused as to why YOU have to watch over her." Liam says sternly.
"Because she insisted." Louis answers.
His steady breathing lulls me to sleep. I manage to curl up into a ball and just lean against him. My heavy eyelids and body soon take over and I drift off completely.

(Louis' P.O.V.)
I wake up slowly as the sun shines in through my open door. I look next to me and I see Kate. She's asleep and I decide not to move in fear that I'll wake her. She breathes quite steadily which is good, she hasn't passed out in two days. Good thing Hope decided to stop bothering us because it she's the the cause of all this. Her lips part a little releasing a small moan.
"Louis." I hear her say. She's still asleep which means she's dreaming. But....why me?
"No! No please no!" She shouts as tears start to flow down her cheeks.
"Kate, wake up." I say pulling her into my arms. She slowly opens her eyes and hugs me tightly. "It's ok, I'm right here."
I rub little circles in her back causing her to calm down and slowly look up at me. I wipe away her tears and pull her closer to me.
"Wanna watch a movie?" I ask. She simply nods and let's me get out of the bed. "What movie?"
"Do you have Toy Story 2?" She whispers.
"Um, yep.... Let me go get it!" I walk out of the room. I slowly open Liam's bedroom door and look through his movie collection. I grab the Toy Story series and bring it back to my room after cautiously closing his door.
"Wanna watch from Toy Story - Toy Story 3? We can watch all three." I ask.
"That would be nice." Kate agrees.
I slide the first movie into the DVD player and take a seat on the bed next to Kate.

"Kate can I ask you something?" I turn towards a laughing girl by the name of Kate.
"Yeah," She says after managing to stop laughing.
"You're so cute when you laugh." I say.
"What?" She asks astounded.
"It's true. But that's not what I wanted to tell you." I respond.
"What is it then?" She questions.
"Kate, what did you think about the....the kiss?" I stutter.
(Kate's P.O.V.)
"I...um" It felt like the whole Pompeii incident was happening all over again but this time inside of me. With fireworks and the high pitch screaming coming from my thumping heart.
"For me it felt like the Big Bang had just happened to my heart." He states.
"Louis I.....I don't know how to explain." I'm shaking.
"Shhhh, it's ok, take your time."
TELL HIM ABOUT POMPEII!
TELL HIM ABOUT THE FIREWORKS!
THE SCREAMS KATE, THE SCREAMS!
"I....." TELL HIM! "P-P......." I start breathing heavily.
"Kate calm down, shhhh it's ok!" Louis hold me in his arms and my breathing slows, coming back to its original rhythm.
"Look, it's ok you don't need to tell me." Louis states holding me tightly.
"Pompeii." I say.
"What?" He asks.
"I felt Pompeii, fireworks and screams from my thumping heart. But not screams of fear. Screams of fun and excitement." I manage to answer.
"Woah." He says.
"What?" I ask.
"You felt that? Wow I seem like nothing right now." He states casually with a little chuckle.
"So, You like this little girl, who just randomly is chosen to spend time with you guys." I ask.
"Kate," I cut him off.
"You like this girl who's had a terrible past and almost no friends her whole life." I'm ranting. I don't like it but I guess I am.
"You like me?" I ask.
"No I don't like you."
