Tristan's POV
I got back in my car and slowly backed up from on top of the girl under my car. I think her name is Lana. Her friend rushed to Lana's side as soon as I was moved. I then parked my car and turned it off.
Getting back out I go over to them, "She's dead!" The shorter one yelled, getting up from her friend and started pounding her fists on my chest. I held up my hand to show back away, she just colapsed into a crying fit. I moved away from the one having a mental breakdown and went over to her friend. Kneeling down, I tried to wake her up.
"Hello?" I shook her shoulder, "Lana wake up." I then moved my finger to check her pulse. It was beating but very softly. Lana's friends continued to cry and it was pissing me off, "She is alive so stop crying and shut up!" She stopped. "Thank you." I mumbled at her.
I gently removed Lana's backpack and set it to the side. Laying her flat on her back I look at her friend. "Does she have any health problems?" Her friend shakes her head 'no'. "Where were you guys going and what's your name?"
"W-we we-ere go-o-oing to D-des-sert R-ridg-ge. C-calli-i." She was still crying but not as much.
"I go there do you wa-" I was cut off as Lana sat up very quickly and was breathing deeply. I jumped a little, "Goddammit..." I said under my breath.
"Lana!" Calli yelled and tackled Lana in a hug and started crying. Lana pushed her friend off of her and tried to control her breathing. Calli kept on trying to hug Lana but Lana would push her away every time.
"Calli." I wrap my arms around the skinny girl and pull her away from Lana. Putting her into my back seat I then lock the car door. "Calm down!" I yell at her as she tried to get out. Calli crossed her arms over her nearly flat chest and glared at me. I glared back and went over to Lana.
Kneeling down and go to put a hand on her should but I'm stopped when her arm comes up and grabs my wrist before I can touch her. Her grip tightens a bit before she let's go and stands up. She immediately starts to fall back down, I grab her side oposite me, helping her to stand.
"Lana are you okay?" I ask, consern flooding my voice.
