I leaned up against my car and looked for Donner Park on my phone. I swear this place was made up. After going through about a million Donner Parks, (UGH) I found one really close to me. Here goes nothing.
About 10 minutes later, I pulled up to a small, but beautiful park. It was in the middle of a roundabout, so I didn't really know where to park.
Too late to turn back now, Zoe.
As I walked up to the pavement, the fragrant smell of honeysuckle and jasmine filled my nose. I actually had to stop to take in the beauty. 'Snap out of it!' I muttered under my breath.
I looked around for a male, presumably standing alone. All I saw was a pregnant mother pushing a toddler on a swing, two little boys playing with race cars in the sand pit, and a little girl, trying to break the head off of her Barbie. The scary part was when the head finally popped off, she laughed and buried it under some mulch.

I squeaked when I felt a finger lightly tap my shoulder. I was too scared to turn around.
"A-are you Zoe?"
