Its 7am on a Monday morning. Mile is parked outside Apo's house waiting for him so they can drive to the studio together. Apo as usual is taking his sweet time and he is going to make the both of them late. mile texts him;
mILE: Po whats the point of the studio getting you an espresso machine at work if your are just going to spend an eternity in your house every morning making coffee. can we please just go, i will personally make you a coffee when we get there!!!
Apo: you know i can function without my morning coffee, patience P'mile
Mile: WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE!!
Apo: done!
mile hangs his head back and sighs in annoyance. a few moments later Apo opens the car door and gets in. bright smile on his face like he did nothing wrong and yells "Good morning Pmile." mile just laughs at how unbelievable his best friend is and puts the car on drive.
The whole morning went by in a flash, they shot the bodyguard scenes and then moved on to the vegaspete scenes. Mile and Apo had a fan event that afternoon so they make their way to the coffeehouse they were invited to to film some sort of live promoting their new endorsement, some new coffee brand. it was getting hard for them to keep up with the names of all the products they were endorsing. dont get me wrong they knew how fortunate they were that they sky rocketed to fame and so many brands were interested in working with them. however sometimes like today when Apo had nothing but action scenes in the morning, he was too exhausted to go and play happy couple fan service.
On the drive there Mile noticed it. he looks over n signals for him to lay his head on his lap, take a little power nap. Po has no hesitation, it was an hour drive and he slept the whole way there as mile stroked his hair. Pmile was always like that to Po, he could tell what Po needed at any given moment and he always took care of him. their friendship was the best part about work for Apo. he didn't mind the crazy schedules, the fan service, the insane work load just as long as he got to do it with his best friend.
At the coffeehouse Po was in his element, as a coffee junkie and an exhausted person, he was more than happy to try out all the new coffee flavors they had for him. Mile just fell back and let Po do most of the talking. he kept holding his hand here and there, whispering in his ear here and there, giving just enough PDA for the fans to go crazy about the video and in turn get more views for their new coffee endorsement.
He was spaced out when he felt Po's hand on the back of his waist, he snapped back to the interview and saw that everyone in the room was looking at him. he didn't hear the question, Po quickly noticed and covers him
" for me if i was to make Pmile a coffee it would be a cappuccino, because he likes simple and classic things, he chuckles, what about you Pmile, what would you make me"
' get your head in the game Pmile' he thinks to himself. he decides to give a provoking response.
" i always thought that a vanilla mocha is the best representation of Apo, it has so many layers and its really beautiful to look at, just like my Po. at the moment i don't know how to make it but i love Apo so much i'm willing to learn just so i can make one for him"
the interviewer started blushing and cooing at them. Apo just looks at him and smirks, he could tell he said that on purpose, he knew the fans would go crazy for that answer, there would be ticktocks and you tube shorts made for that answer.
it was around 7pm and the interview had just wrapped up. they walk back to the car.
mile receives a text and is visabley annoyed.
Po; who on earth is annoying you more than me, i'm getting jealous
he jokes
mile: my building representative. the one that lives in the downstairs loft, he just moved out and he wants me to be the new building rep. i keep telling him my work schedule is way too busy for me to do that and he is being annoying stubborn.
Po: wait so the unit below you is empty? pmile!! are you thinking what im thinking?
he says with a light bulb look in his eye
mile: im pretty sure no one is ever thinking what ur thinking Apo, ur a nut!
po just ignores the insult and shouts out " why don't i just move in?"
mile thinks about it for a second. it would mean he wont have to drive all the way across town anymore to pick up 'a kid'. he wouldn't be late to work anymore. and best of all he could live next to his best friend.
Mile: omg APO!!! that's a great idea, okay let me call their building manager rn and arrange a viewing for you tonight, ooh i'm so exited. we get to live in the same building, i cant wait.
excitement was in the air. the whole drive there they talked about all the things they would do together if they were living together. it had been a while since Mile was exited. only Apo can get him feeling like this, he had known for a while that his crazy little hyper active best friend was his favorite person on earth. watching Apo just be himself and outshine everyone in every room was his guilty pleasure, sometimes he had felt uneasy and scared of how much he loved this man. always scared that maybe it was feelings and his tv character was spilling into his subconscious mind. he wondered what it was going to be like now that they will get to spend even more time together.
