Percy Jackson: The Mistake

Percy POV

"So Lady Athena is that it do I have your blessing to marry Annabeth?" Athena smiled at me and said "I hate to admit this but old Barnacle breath actually raised another good son (Theseus was her favorite child of Poseidon she even blessed him) loyal to a fault plus you where were not only able to befriend Artemis but her hunt as well. So yes my future son you may have Annabeth's hand in marriage." I smiled and said "thank you my future mom." She hugged me and had a tear sliding down her cheek. Needless to say her beef with me is officially over and done with.

I went to tell the girls, and if your wondering yes I told them all about my mission upfront. I had to, when thirty prepubescent man hating sharp shooting women who make Robin Hood look like a novice have there arrows pointed at your man hood an ask you why you are at their camp added to that, two of them are daughters of Apollo lying isn't really an option. I saw the girls all around the camp fire so I walk up to them. Phoebe and Thalia wave me over to sit next to them. Phoebe then says with big puppy dog eyes "big brother can you make me a venison burrito?" (yes Phoebe captain of the I hate Percy club called me big brother, however after we got over our differences that's what she as well as the rest of the hunt see me as, especially when you add how over protective of them I am and lastly don't knock the venison burrito till you try it they are sooooooo good) I laugh and say "fine but enough with the sad puppy face you know I can't say no to that." she smiled and said "I know" and began to giggle, I waved my hand and everyone had venison burritos I made sure each was made the special way they liked it. Now before you ask how did I do that, Hestia made me her champion when she seen what kind of quest Lady Athena put me on.

The hunters and Artemis had finished their food in less then three seconds flat. okay I'm exaggerating but they ate it pretty dam fast. so I waved my hand again giving them seconds. I then said "Sisters, I have some good and bad news for you, the good news is I got Athena's blessing to marry Annabeth. The bad news is this will be my last night traveling with the hunt."

When I looked at my sisters I could see they all had the same look in their eyes, they were happy for me because I was finally getting what I been working so hard for but also sad that the only male they look to as a brother and some even a father is leaving.

Artemis then said "well if you're leaving we have a few things for you." Artemis then gave me two big boxes and two small boxes, they were all wrapped in silver with blue ribbons tying them together. so when I opened the first big one it had a hunters uniform in it but it was for males, it being black with silver outlines. the second big box held photographs of all our good times we have had over this past year and lastly two small boxes. The first one had two moon silver rings and a moon silver bracelet. the bracelet had two blue charms on them the first was a sword and the second was a bow.

I looked at Artemis and she said "the rings become a pair of moon silver hunting knives and if you spin them they become imperial gold knives, the bracelet becomes a moon silver bow or a moon silver sword call πανσέληνος which means full moon."

Now before any of you freak out and start running for the hills because I have a bow in my hand, you should know that I Percy Jackson am now one of the best shots in the hunt with a bow, so much so that I am tied with Artemis for best shot in the hunt which puts me really high up world wide, I even beat Apollo when he came to visit hunt, which Artemis never lets him live down."

I couldn't believe they did this all for me, I began to cry and said "thank you guys so much." Artemis laughed and said "oh come on and woman up, that was just from the hunters, now I'll give you my gift but first." She snapped her fingers and I was wearing the hunters uniform they gave me. After all of the girls were staring at me she finally gave me a mirror and I could see why they were staring I looked like a different person like I belonged to the hunt now.
