*Ring Ring Ring* The alarm on my phone goes off which means its 5:00 a.m and time for me to get. "Ugh" I said while scratching my hair. I slowly sit up on the bed staring into the dark. Another day at the jailhouse known as Parks Highschool. "Why did my mom have to send me to a school in another borough?" I said to myself. I finally get up and head to the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror and stretch my arms as far as they could go. I open the cabinet and take out the toothpaste & grab my toothbrush. I started brushing my teeth. When I was done I took off all my clothes and turned on the water. I got in to the tub and turned on the shower and let the hot water fall on me. The water pressure was just right on my body. It was starting to turn me on. I thought of Daniel. Who was Daniel? Daniel McDonald was the sexiest darkskin dude you ever layed your eyes on. He was 5'7 and all muscle. La'Shoni is my identical twin we look exactly alike. We are both 5'2, long curly natural hair, brown skin, with hazel eyes. Although we are identical we are two completely different people. I'm the tomboy twin I love sports, and I didn't really care for fashion the way she did. I was basically another dude. Shoni on the other had was the true meaning of a girly girl. I finally got out of the shower I put on some underwear and my bra lotioned up and threw on my school uniform. Yea I said it. Parks Highschool was a private school so we had a uniform. The only good thing about this school is the girls are able to wear the same uniform pants as the guys. I threw on my khaki uniform pants and white uniform shirt. It was the middle of October and it was starting to get cold so I threw on my pullover sweater. I threw on my retro 7s and headed downstairs. It was 6:45 now and almost time to leave. I went downstairs to find my mom getting ready for work.
"Morning Mama" I said to her while kissing her cheek.
"Morning Shanti" she said back. "Is your sister awake?" She asked.
"Yea she awake" I said with an attitude.
"Morning beautiful people" Shoni said way too loud.
"Morning Shoni" My mom said to her. "Listen you two I'm head on a business trip today and won't be back for 3 weeks. I'm trusting you two take care of this house and each other while I'm gone. Can I trust you two with that?"
She asks that every time she is about to leave on a business trip.
"Yes" we both answered her in unison.
She kissed us both on the cheek and headed out. As she was leaving we both heard her talking say hi to someone.
"Your baby is here" Shoni whispered to me
Yea you guessed it in walked Daniel. Daniel comes to our house every morning so we can take the train together to school.
"Wassup girls?" He greets us "Y'all ready I want enough time to buy breakfast and eat it too."
"Yea I'm done, let me go get my ball and bag and then we can bounce" I said.
"Wait I didn't even do my hair yet!!" Shoni yells.
"Guess I can forget about breakfast." Daniel says as he sits on the couch and turns on the TV. I go and sit next to him and just stare at him. He looks at me confused. "What?" He asked "Umm nothing. You catch the game last night?" I asked. Before he can answer Shoni comes down. "Awww look at you two. You guys ate so cute. Danny you should scoop her up now before you regret it later." My mouth just dropped I can't believe she would say that. Daniel just laugh and goes " Nah Shanti is just the bro nothing more nothing less" I turned to him and my heart brakes.
