La'Shoni Pov
I know La'Shanti is mad at me. In my defense I was only trying to help. Besides can you blame Danny for thinking of her as "the bro" she dresses like one of the guys. I look over at Ashanti and sees that she is staring out the train window. This has to be the longest train ride ever. I slowly make my way to where Ashanti is sitting and sit next to her. When she notices that its me sitting next to her she gives me the meanest stare known to man. If looks could kill I would probably be dead right now.
"Shanti I'm really sorry. I should of never stuck my nose where it didnt belong but I just thought you needed a little push and thats just what I did." I pleaded my case to her. She signs.
"Look I'm not mad at you ok. Although you are right about you sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. I'm just a little heart broken. How could Daniel call me his brother? Does he really see me as a dude? Shoni do I look like a boy?"
"Shanti we are twins you look exactly like me. Your are beautiful but you hide it under all those baggy clothes and rough personality. Baby girl you gotta find your gentle side. Its ok for you to be a tomboy but do you have to act like a little boy too?
The train arrives at our stop and we all get up and head to school. As soon as we step in the bell rings. I separate from my sister and rush to my locker on the 3rd floor. Curse myself for choosing a locker all the way on the 3rd floor I think to myself. I reach my locker and quickly throw everything into my locker and grab the books I need for my morning classes. As I'm rushing to my first period on the 2nd floor I run into what feels like a brick wall.
"Hey shorty are are you iight? Ask this fine light skin prince. He helps me up and I get lost in his gorgeous green eyes. "Hello... Did I hit you that hard? He asks while waving his hands in my face. I quickly come back to reality & for some reason I snap "Can't you see where your going! Your ass almost took me out!!" I say while pointing my finger all in his face. He laughs this really sexy laugh. "You do realize that YOU ran into ME right lil mama?" He says. "Oh umm .... I'm sorry & stop calling me shorty and lil mama my name is La'Shoni." I say. He is about to say something else when the late bell rings. "Oh shoot now I'm late" with that I push pass him and race to my first period class.
I know the first 2 chapter are pretty boring but this is my first time writing .... EVER. Please excuse the misspelled word or grammar errors I'll come back and do some editing. Feel free to comment and give me some feedback and criticism. Im open to all ideas.
Do worry I'm gonna start spicing things up a little more I just don't want my book to be like any others I've read or predictable. Bear with me.
