____________________________________"AAAHHHH!!" Ritsuka screamed as he woken from the nightmare he was having. He began to look frantically around his surroundings to see where he was, until he started to notice that he was in the medical wing within Chaldea.
'I'm..... back?' Ritsuka questioned himself over the possibility of him being back in Chaldea. Although, he had his suspicions that he was still within the nightmare and what he was seeing was simply a trick to fool him.
However, all those thoughts subsided once he heard a familiar voice.
"Senpai!" Ritsuka heard coming from outside of the medical wing as he remembered the individual who called him that during his time in Chaldea.
"Mashu..?" Ritsuka said softly as he could not believe that he was back in Chaldea, his home away from home.
As Ritsuka continued to ponder that he was back in Chaldea. The door to his medical room began to open. He braced what would happen until the door to his room completely opened.
"Senpai?" Ritsuka heard again as he looked towards the door. He then became surprised at what he was seeing.
It was the only person who stood by his side throughout his journey, Mashu.
"Mashu?" Ritsuka said questioningly to Mashu, but what caught him by surprise was that Mashu began to smile, while tears began to form around her eyes.
"Senpai!!" Mashu said happily as he ran towards Ritsuka and began to hug him as she continued to cry tears of happiness that her senpai had finally awakened.
Ritsuka was caught off guard by Mashu's action, however he understood why she reacted the way she did as he began to hug Mashu back as she continued to cry with happiness.
This moment lasted for a few minutes, until Mashu recomposed herself and looked towards Ritsuka in a worried manner and said.
"What happened, Senpai!? I was on my way to see you until I heard you scream and I quickly got here to see what happened."
Understanding Mashu concerns over why he screamed. Ritsuka gave a weak smile and said.
"I just had a nightmare. It's nothing to worry about."
Mashu began to look skeptical over Ritsuka's reasoning for why he screamed, but decided to put those suspensions to the side as she said.
"I am just happy that you are alright, Senpai."
Ritsuka began to smile softly after hearing what Mashu said, however something came to his mind.
"Hey, Mashu, could I ask you something?"
Mashu looked at Ritsuka with some concern as she said.
"What is it, Senpai?"
"How long was I out for? A week or two?" Ritsuka questioningly said to Mashu who began to look at him and speak in a serious manner.
"You were in a coma for a month after I saved you before the Solomon Singularity could collapse on us."
'So, we did manage to escape, but..' Ritsuka thought to himself until another thought crossed his mind.
"Mashu, at what moment did I fall into a coma?"
Mashu began to think the question over, until she looked back at Ritsuka and said.
